TDS sounds scary but this is not tax deducted at source. The delicious spread here delivers food. The restaurant does not have a sit and dine facility. They only deliver food. They are with Zomato now as well. Coming to the food, very less spicy and very homemade type. The delivery person was also very nice. Overall satisfied.
Was in Kolkata for few days and tasted a lot of local cuisine. Ghar ka khana was on the list and someone recommended this restaurant for being pocket friendly. Their dal is amazing. If you are in Kolkata you should try a homemade Luchi Begun bhaja. Had it here. Total yum!
Well, the menu is pretty ordinary to be honest. But we tried their food as a part of our habit. We have ordered Luchi, begun bhajas, mutton roganjosh, chicken bharta with egg.To our surprise, food was very tasty with minimum amount of oil and masala. Just gave us a guilt free experience. We also learnt that they can serve for parties and occasion from 10 to 200 people.Keep it up and maintain your strengths.
Taken a few dishes as takeaway last week. Was impressed by the quality of home-like food. Hopefully they maintain this tasty and yet not so spicy homelike food. Matar Pulao and Panchratan daal is our Home favourite right now. Mutton Roganjosh is good but more Kasa Mangsho types. Suggestion will be maintaining this quality throughout. Thanks
This has just opened in our area. The outlet is a dark kitchen with a very minimum seating capacity. We have trusted them with a small order of 20 plates for a family get-together. They have customised the food menu for our occasion. Though sceptical, we were amazed by their quality home-like bengali food.We have ordered Luchi, Begun Bhaja, Alu r dom, Pulao, Mutton Rogan Josh, Tomato Chutney and Papad. We preferred our own sweets, but they also had an option. The food was spices and oil controlled which gave us a perfect satisfaction of eating home made food on such a family gathering. Special mention about the Mutton dish, which was very good.A must try for the people who want to eat good Bengali home-like food without compromising on the taste and convinience. Strongly recommend for home orders and party orders.
