An old structured nostalgic sweet shop in bara bazaar area, near Howrah Bridge. The sweets & confectionery items are fresh & delicious. The service of the staffs are good. I think a little cleanliness is necessary.
What a nostalgic place at barabazaar, kolkata. I am feeling satisfied at here. All sweets and snacks are very fresh. This place is very much cossy. Service is very good. Little cleanness is necessary.
‘Deshbandhu Mishtanna Bhandar’, one of the finest old model shop which preserves its heritage yet today. Just go to the counter,get a token and place your order..And trust me, you will get the best Sitabhog here..Mihidana is also available here but couldn’t try it.The most popular dish among all is the ‘Kochuri and aloor torkari’..it is served hot,a bit spicy, but will tingle your taste buds..A must try..
Ambience: A busy and big shop in burrabazar near to the howrah bridge. An typically old model shop. You have to go to the counter first for your token and then came back to the counter for your shopping.Rating: 4/5Food: You can get best Mihidana in Kolkata. Sitabhog is also nice. You can try their gujia also.Rating: 4.5/5Packaging: It is nice.Rating: 3.5/5Behaviour: I have to counter with a lot of person. Apart from the person in the counter others were well behaved. Actually, the persons talks filthy language among them, which is not nice when you have customers awaiting for his order. Even they are reluctant to answer when somebody came and asking for the price.Rating:2/5VFM: Rs. 300 per kilo for mihidana. A bit expensive compare to shops at bardhaman.Rating: 3/5.
Had Rabri over here which was fine.Next We ordered Luchi with daal which was bit average.Prices are slightly on the higher side.There is seating options for around 10 people
