  This is located at Jessore road, near Madhyamgram Chowrasta. It is well decorated and full bar service is available here. Everything is good apart from the quality of food served here.

  Classic o classic . You were the first bar of Barasat what is amazing is that you not only started the drinking culture here but also maintained the history of the place. You might not be like the modern decorated bars cooking and pouring drinks in style and trend but it is amazing to experience how authentic you have always been . From 2004- till date, classic has been welcoming people from every sphere of the city and every passerby with happy meals and reasonable drinks. Places and people have come and gone but some legends like CLASSIC always remain. The Kebabs might be spicy sometimes and the drinks could be strong sometimes but CLASSIC you never fail to bring a smile everytime. Don’t visit it , experience it.

  I have once visited this restaurant for lunch and found the place very dark and empty. The staff was very arrogant and most probably was drunk as he was not stable during taking orders. Most of the items listed in menu were unavailable. Service was also very slow. However, I ordered my dinner through Zomato from here few days back to see any improvement was made in the food. I ordered Veg Fried Rice and Chicken Manchurian. Delivery was done timely but the packing was very ordinary and no stickers were put in the containers to avoid spillage.Veg Fried Rice -Quantity was good enough for 1 person. Veggies like beans and carrot were present that too in minimal quantity. Taste was average and nothing special. It was more similar to Peas Pulao rather than a fried rice.Chicken Manchurian -6 thin pcs of chicken were given. The gravy was extremely oil and dilute. Veggies like onion, spring onion, garlic and coriander was present. Chicken was boneless but hard to chew. Taste was OK but the presentation and ingredients were ordinary.I must say nothing has been improved here. Price is high compared to the quality of the food they serve. This restaurant is one of the oldest in Barasat and improvements should be done to regain the lost glory.

  One thing I can say is that the name ‘Classic’ is exactly contradictory to what this place really is.We ordered some alcohol & Chicken Tandoori. The Tandoori was ok, but over priced. And the 2 alcohol almost tasted the same. And we had to call them again & again for little things.And the place was average in decoration, hygiene & vibe. The staffs were Ok. It seemed like they were doing some favour by serving us.I just want to say, if you have no other place to go in this locality for some alcohol, then visit this place. Otherwise try to go somewhere else.
