Food TalkAs people who have been following us now for the last 15 months know that we do an annual burger hunt in which we rate a burger on 3 properties – Bun quality, the taste of the patty inside and the quality of thesalad & sauce used. We use the same scale for Burger KingThe Classic Chicken Royal – The recipe has not been untouched and lacks all the 3 qualities which were meant to go into the burger. You would love it if you like your burger subtle with the least amount of seasoning and a lean patty.
Nice experience. Nice ambience inside the restaurant. Food was awesome. Behaviour of the staffs is very friendly. We tried veg pulao, shahi paneer, masala papd. The most important thing is the food is really awesome and amount is enough. Just loved this place. Will visit again. We really enjoyed the food a lot. Lots of ❤️.
This one’s the restaurant where I first encountered Biryani when I was 6 or 7 hardly. I lived very near to this restaurant, and when I cross this outlet the heavenly smell of Biryani used to strike my nostrils, my senses. I’m becoming emotional as I’m writing this, since this is the restaurant I’ve my childhood attached to. I used to go there every weekend with mum or dad to have a plate full of Biryani. Staring from 45 rupees only back then, now it has a price of 180 rupees. Although I have tried their rolls, noodles etc. But the Biryani is superb here, they only serve mutton Biryani, the aromatic basmati rice drenched in ghee, garnished with milk, keshar etc with a juicy, tender mutton piece and above all a heavenly piece of aloo. This one’s arguably the best Biryani place in Barasat. But nowadays the quality lacks, also try to go at noon when they just freshly prepare a handi. So, my recommendation:: Mutton Biryani.
