This was my second visit to Byepass Dhaba (I missed to review it first time). But not to worry, Byepass Dhaba didn’t disappoint me either of the time.I have tried it two years ago and had a really good meal, consisting of both veg, non veg dishes. This time we had;Mutton biriyani: A standard Kolkata biriyani. Mutton piece was a little small (bad luck).Garlic butter naan: Good as always.Special chicken preparation recommended by the server: This was a hit. It contained chicken tikka pieces, rolled omelette pieces and grated cheese on the top. I would say kadhai chicken upgraded.Along with that we had a litchi mocktail and lassi.Pocket pinch: 1200 approxOverall a good place to eat without spending a lot of money and without worrying about the taste of food.Highly recommended.
We ordered (Two of us)1 Special Chicken Biriyani. It had one egg one aloo, and 2 large portioned chicken , the rice was yummy , not at all heavy, it was one of the good biriyanis in the town I would say.1Butter NaanThe naan was soft and served hot . Tasty enough .1 Chicken Tikka Butter Masala. The gravy was neither too spicy nor bland. Perfect and subtle mix and taste .I would recommend to Go for Naan and Chicken Tikka Butter Masala here if you are craving this typical Punjabi dish and anywhere near E.M bypass.Their drawback is the service, which is pathetic, the staffs are not careful enough to cater to the needs. We had to time and again ask to to refill our glass of water and the worst part is they could not serve us a dish as simple as fresh lime soda throughout the time we ate even after we continuously requested them to serve us one. The waiters are pathetic. Would have given 4 stars they gave us even a slightly better service.Pocket pinch 749/-
Recently I visited this place with a few of my friends and I had a wonderful time there. Their biryani is amazing, and the kebabs are great too. The chicken reshmi butter masala is great too. What I didn’t like was the loud crowd in the restaurant. You absolutely don’t get a fine dine like ambience when you’re here. In fact it often gets as loud as a fish market. However the food tastes very good. You don’t get to try their full menu most of the time, but if you’re lucky enough, you should try the BD special dishes, they’re very good. Overall a good experience.
1st time visit and that too during Durga Puja. Ordered Tandoori full, mutton kabab, mutton biriyani, butter Nun, mutton do piyaza, Lal murgh masala and as dessert ordered kulfi, masala cold drinks. Food taste was nice and tasty. Staffs were also polite.
