This outlet is located in AE Block, Salt lake. They serve fresh and delicious sweets and quick snacks at an affordable price. I tried their samosa and balushai. The samosa was well-cooked. The balushai was rich in quality and had an orange flavour. I also tried their Chocolate sweet. It tasted awesome!
This is one of the oldest sweet shops in Salt Lake . The shop is a small one & has remained the same since my childhood days. Sweets are of good quality while the price is on the higher side . The behaviour of the staffs of is a point of concern for this shop . Their attitude is like – take it or leave it , we don’t care . This kind of attitude needs much improvement .
Have the Kesari Vog there. It is just fantabulous. I use to have it there very frequently. Their other sweets are also pretty awesome but could not remember the name. Well it’s a heavy sell sweets outlet and very old..
Spotted this sen mahasay outlet at kwaliy more, and tried 7-8 varieties from this outlet, no question on the quality of the product’s and the staff maintain proper hygiene, serves with gloves on. Tried everything that remotely had nolen gur, loved it.The don’t have the soft version of gal bhara. They surely need to update the number of varieties they serve and experiment with new flavours to stay competitive.
I can say that on my list Kolkata has some of the most renowned sweet shop like Tewari Sweets etc and now this one.Just like I visit evertime to Tewari Sweets whenever I come here in Kolkata. This too is one such place which I visit everytime. The shop is though small in size, keeps small stock but has some ecstatic quality sweets like Misty Dahi. I visit there only for one type os Sandesh which i don’t even know the name, i just show them I pic of it and they give it. I have also uploaded a pic of it check it and grab it.
This place is nostalgia for me bringing back memories of high school, friends and sweet treats. I’m a devout admirer of their Mihidana and Sheetabhog. I frequent here less nowadays but most definitely it’s a local favourite. P.S.: I had met Upal of Chandrabindoo here once. If you’re lucky, you may meet him too. He lives in AE Block, nearby. 😛
In this shop at ae block one person misbehaved with me. He treats himself like an officer. They should be polite to their customer. But their sweet is good and tasty.
