For change I was foxed by the zomato rating of 3.2 for this little gem of an eatery which for me served some of the best chinese i have had in a long time. I ordered the usual chicken fried rice along with Hunan and lemon chicken both of which tasted amazing and fresh. What mostly gained my admiration was the fact that during the festive season when most of the well known eateries struggle to find consistency and quality in their food, the talented chef of this eatery has not only produced magic with his limited resources but also maintained the decencies of both quality and quantity..A must try for those who want to explore the unknown, the obscure and the unbeholden.
the low rating is for mixing up my order. i had ordered prawn spicy Singapore fried rice, instead of which i got plain prawn fried rice which had very few prawns that too all cut up into halves. next i ordered chicken in hunan sauce, instead i got some prawn dish. finally i had ordered prawn in oyester gravy. instead of that i got chicken. so basically everything went haywire! my dinner plans went down the drain. do had a terrible experience this time with zomato and my first time experience with hungry spoon was also bad. the food tastes decent. but such a big blunder is unacceptable. only the meifoon order was correct. please be careful about customer’s orders. i request zomato to kindly recheck the order placed by customers.
Searching for dinner delivery via Zomato..I found this at a late hour when no restaurants were accepting orders. Thought of giving it a try , being a beginner in Chinese foods( never ate anything else than Hakka noodles, fried rice, chilly chicken) , we added to cart the following items..Cantonese noodlesShanghai noodlesMelfoon noodlesSingapore noodlesCrispy chilli baby cornRed hot chicken chilly pepperFood arrived within few minutes ( my house is far from the outlet).I was a bit tensed about how will they taste as it is my first attempt for this place and the items.Once they were delivered hot, and started eating there came a sense of satisfaction.Each of the items gave a unique flavour with different feeling and I am complacent with my order.Every dish is prepared cautiously with varied types of spaghettis and accompaniments.I am overwhelmed with their work and thinking of visiting the place.
This small eatery in Behala, is really cool in its own way. They serve pork dishes and meifoon as well, which most of the Chinese take away restaurants lack in the locality. I had ordered chicken meifoon.Pro:1. Taste: good.2. Quality: good.3. Portion: adequate.4. Price: moderate.Cons: there’s always room for improvement.This order came with a zomato seal. Delivery was good.Highly Recommended!
Loved the food that I ordered “mixed crispy garlic fried rice”. This was the first time I ordered from your outlet and I was sceptical so ordered that to be on the safe side. Now I know I can rely and order anything from you coz I am sure it’s going to be delicious. I ordered mix gravy chow.. and in the gravy.. there was no prawn.. and small 2 or 3 piece of chicken..and the quantity of chow was very low!!!
