On the taste side, mutton and chicken biryani had authentic bengali flavour. The juicy sweet soft potato just adds happiness to your meal. But a 3 start for the quantity and the ambiance. Also, no raita to a biryani??? How is that possible? Price on the expensive side with very leas quantity. Seating place is toooo conjusted.
Last night went to this outlet after ages with my school friends with a hope to relieve some old school memories but to my surprise the quality of both biryani and chicken side dishes have deteriorated so much & also the prices have increased!We took both Chicken Biryani and Mutton biryani. Well the Chicken biryani was good but the mutton pieces were extremely small.Then we took Chicken Reshmi Butter Masala along with kebabs. The kebabs were good but the gravy was disgusting. The taste was really pathetic.The only good thing was the phirni.
I have been to this place innumerable times because of its close proximity to my college. The quality of food is ok compared to the variety of biriyani available at stalls at a much cheaper price. Service is quite prompt. And facing a long queue is common because of large number of footfalls especially during any festival.
