I would like this place once and came back for good South Indian food. But I was disappointed. The quality is the worst now. I ordered dahi vada and was served frozen dahi vada that was hard to cut, crumbled with watery curd. If you are looking for quality, this is the wrong place. The food is subpar and I felt sick after eating it. What a waste of money and time. I would not recommend this place to anyone and would never go back

I was surprised with the declined quality. I literally grew up having dosas and idlis from here, but the last time visit wasn’t a pleasurable one. The Sambhar was just a left over sambhar mixed with water. The masala in dosa’s quantity was low, the badam chutney was borderline horrible. If the manager of the joint ever read this, pls look at the quality. Its one of the oldest South Indian joints in Park Circus area. Its like a nostalgia lane for us. Please look out.

This place has been one of my favourite childhood place to have authentic South Indian food. Located opposite my school (QMS)What i like most about the place is the ambience. Homely and cosy. Food is excellent. Pocket friendly. I can never get tired of this place.

Well I visited this south indian joint few months back for some kerala dishes which is rarely found in Kolkata.Had idiyappam & appam with potato curry.both tasted fine.Along with that I had sambar vada and filter coffee. The prices are reasonable and specific dishes like appam n all are prepared every alternate day.Breakfast is reccomended over here over lunch/dinner for hygiene reasons.

Picked up my breakfast yesterday from this place though I have had food from here many a times. Its a small joint located right opposite to the Quest Mall in the lane. I had taken Masala Dosas, Idlis and Vadas. The Masala Dosa was very good in taste and the quantity of filling was really good and flavourful. The Medu Vada were crisp and fresh and the idlis were also soft and fresh. The coconut chutney was really thick and nice not the flowing pani wali chutney types..but the sambhar I felt was stale. However as I mentioned I have had food here earlier as well. So I would recommend people to try their Non veg Thali, Masala Dosa, Appam and stew and filter coffee. Prices are very pocket friendly and the owner and staff are very friendly. The service is quick. Recommended!
