BEST PUNJABI FOOD AVAILABLE
Location:- Located just beside the road on kolaghat.Ambience:- Typical dhaba ambience with family crowd as well as young crowd. But it could be a little more clean.Food:- The tea was totally outstanding. We also had tandoori roti, butter nun, palak panner & chicken korma. Chicken korma was not that great.Staffs:- Though it’s a very crowded place, staffs are a bit slow. Service is not that prompt. & one of them was continuously in a hurry to complete the bill even before we finished the food.Overall:- it’s not that special to come from Kolkata just to have food here. But if it’s on your way to anywhere, u should stop for at least once.
Kolaghat is synonymous to Sher-E-Punjab when it comes to delectable food & drinks! This place never fails to amaze me with their spectacular varities of tasty delicacies paired with liquor at low rates! Service is a tad bit slow due to the crowd they’ve! Its in NH6 high wayAmbience- nice ambience but it was my bad luck that could be get the chance to sit outsideFood- nice food we have ordered butter tandoori ruti karai paneer and tandoori masala.Price- cheap price and the quantity was too much.Service- quick service they took minimum time to serve because it was a crowed sunday.
Retuning from Mandarmoni, we halted at this place to fill up our stomach.Sunday Afternoon, this place is a mess with to much crowd gathering.After an hour we managed to get seats.We ordered:1. Tandoori Chicken2. Chicken Tikka Masala3. Mutton Keema4. Egg Chicken Fried Rice5. Paneer Tikka6. Butter Chicken7. Gulab Jamun, Ras Malai and Kaju BarfiFood had a great taste.Ambience is something we should not look here.It had a dhaba type of an ambience.Service was way too slow.Overall:Food: 4Service: 2.5Ambience: 3PocketPinch: 3.5Overall: 3
A wish fulfilled. The place amazes aa usual. Authentic North Indian dishes with beautiful ambiance will attract you obviously. A long drive from kolkata and lunch at here can be a perfect weekend. Overall taste is awesome.Tandoor was little spicy but rests are recommended. 3.5/5.
