  This place had been in my bucket list for quite sometime and when a group of decided to have a family lunch there, I was quite excited.As we collected our tickets and made our way up, the view indeed was amazing. This rapidly developing area of Newtown is quite a sight from above. On one side lay the beautiful campus of Rabindra Tirtha with its sparkling blue pool and on the other side, the highrises of posh residential communities.The interiors of the circular restaurant is spacious with a broad aisle, and comfortable seating. The walls are covered with floor to ceiling murals depicting the very essence of Kolkata. The restaurant is amply staffed and we were promptly seated.The buffet spread was quite huge with enough options to choose from. However, I would have preferred better menu options considering the price paid. Some of the items that were worth trying were:Starters:- Mini Uttapams with Sambhar and Chutney- Assorted Bengali Telebhaja- Dahi Bada (must try)Soup & Salad:- Lemon Coriander Soup (must try)- Fresh fruit salad- Exotic SaladMain Course:- Egg Shakshuka- Veg Noodles- Mutton Curry (must try)Desserts:- Malpua- Phirni (must try)Apart from these, several other items like the Poha, Mix Veg, Shorshey Katla and the pasta in white sauce were just average and things one really wouldn’t enjoy in a buffet spread. The food quality and preparation, however, was good.What was sorely missed were a few good starters and a better fish preparation. Overall, the view from the top, the prompt service and some of the food options helps this place to score.

  Went there with my colleagues yesterday..with a huge expectations..we’re not disheartened but not that happy too after visiting.This place looks awesome..you’ll love walking through the corridor..will get a picturesque view of your favourite city..wall decoration is very nice..lots of quote,pictures etc r there.But when it comes to the food..we’re not happy at all..they’ve a small bakery stall there..I would suggest you to try their Prawn cutlet and Fish fry..both tasted pretty well..rest of the items were poor..pastries were too dry..Remember,u’ll get only 45minutes to visit the whole place.For dinner,there’s an option for pre booking.

  Service was great. Staffs were helpful. Food was tasty and expensive. We have ordered Chilli prawns for Starter & Mutton Kasha with Nun were great in taste. Only thing was lackimg unavailability of drink section. They didn’t have tea, coffee or any beverages. They should add these too in their menu. Other than that view was nice.

  Visited there last week. This place is very beautiful with nice seating arrangements and wall decor. But the food is very very costly. One cupcake size red velvet cake is for 100/- is tooooo much. Anyway we ordered prawn cutlet, fish fry , chicken puff and coffee. Coffee and chicken puff was good. But the fish fry was almost rotten , it was smelling bad and there was no prawn in prawn cutlet. Food is not at all worthy. And one more thing staffs are very very rude. They will insult you in your face and laugh. This was my first and last time visit. Thanks but no thanks.
