  On our visit to Darjeeling last week we decided to try out chinese for dinner,on searching this was a recommendation from many. To be honest we were not disappointed,it was freezing outside hence the cozy musical atmosphere aling with a fire place inside was an add-on to the expected perfect dinner type ambience in the hills. We had orderedHot n Spicy chicken soup- It was nice decent with appropriate spices served with amiable temperature,actually felt like heaven after the first gulpChicken Crispy (something)- Again decent in taste and well decoratedNon veg fried rice- At par with taste and actual offering sChicken shanghai Manchurian- Good decent marinated pieces of chicken properly cooked along with satiable gravy.All items were too good both in quality n quantity and pocket pinch for entire dinner for 3 was around 1000. Cheap n quality food in amiable ambience at the hills ,what more do you want in a family trip. Kudos guys.

  Hotel Shangri-la is an amazing multicuisine restaurant situated in the heart of Darjeeling. This place is very popular for Chinese Cuisine . I was greeted with the warm smiles and impeccable hospitality of the Staffs.Moving to the foodIn frame: Mixed Rice:Hunan Chicken:Kung Pao ChickenAll the items were amazing and quiet reasonable ♥

  Went there with family for dinner. Wanted to try something in tebetian and hence ordered thupka, gayktuk. And rest indian dal makhani, muttor paneer, roti etc.Food was ok. Tastewise and quantity.What was very disappointing is service. I observed that most of restaurants here in Darjeeling are under staffed. Service ppl are little rude or may be don’t understand what customer are asking for.Here we were kept waiting for just ordering for more than 15 min. and then food was served after 30mim. Till then even for water no one was there to attend and when someone came near by. He just responded that ask for water to other waiter.So service wise it can’t be rated more than 2

  Went to Darjeeling last winter ❄️ and visited this nice restaurant down the Mall. The food was amazing. The ambience was pleasant. The staff was very friendly.

  This is a multicuisine restaurant located very close to Darjeeling Mall. This place is very popular for its Chinese cuisine. I loved the food here.The Chicken hot & sour soup was thick and tasted great.The Crispy chicken sanghai style was amazing. The chicken was very juicy and spicy. The sauce deserves a special mention.I tried the momo platter which had chicken, pork and veg momos. The momos had a thin coating and were very juicy.The mixed Singapore noodles was my favourite. It was loaded with chicken, egg, pork and veggies. Absolutely loved it.Overall this is a great place in Darjeeling to enjoy good food with some drinks. exploringcuisines.wordpress.com

I was greeted with the warm smiles and impeccable hospitality of the staff.Moving to the food I had visited with my friend and we had orderedChicken hot & sour soup – amazing start to the meal.mixed Singapore noodles – honestly the best noodles I ever had.kungpao chicken – succulent juicy pieces of chicken and well cooked.chicken briyani – Never expected a north indian dish to taste so good in a place where Chinese is so predominant.pork momochicken momoVeg momoThe entire assorted momo collection tasted heavenly.Overall I loved my time at this lovely place.
