Ordered online first time from this mini branch of Saptapadi Restaurant known as mach magic which prepares fish recipes in innovative ways – ordered starter – vetki chingri popcorn and dessert – bhapa sondesh .VETKI CHINGRI POPCORN : 6 balls made of mashed vetki fish ( i couldn’t feel taste of prawn unfortunately ) , mixed with chopped onion , coriander , spices with a coating of cornflakes for the crispiness deep fried – perfect as snacks for chai time adda ( though i found bit more oily – good as a cheat food once in a while !)Innovation – 4/5Taste -4/5BHAPA SANDESH : Freshly crumbled paneer ( chana in bengali ) with a kaju and kismish topped with dripping of chocolate sauce , rolled in banana leaf and steamed like famous bengali recipe bhapa ilish .( Served 2 in a plate )Innovation – 4/5Taste -3.5/5
This is a small take away joint situated in golpark right opposite aminia restaurant.We ordered a combo meal, which consisted of French fries, basanti pulao, aloo dum, bhetcki chingri popcorn and chicken and salad. The non veg is optional. You can choose between mutton/chingri/chicken. The bhetki chicken popcorn was a very innovative starter. They had given two big pieces of chicken in it and the aloo dum was very well cooked too. Overall the quality of the food was very good. The price is also reasonable. You can get the combo at just Rs 199.A big thumbs up to this place. If you want a light economical meal, this is the place to order from.
This is the Sarodiya Thali that I ordered . The quality and quantity both were amazing at this price!!!I opted for basanti pulao,mutton,betki chingri popcorn,french fries and aloo dum.The mutton and pulao is a winner combo!! The taste was just as I imagined it should be and I was tummy happy. The Bhetki chingri popcorn was an innovative and delicious starter. Even the aloo dum was amazing and paired with the pulao it reached the next level.All in all a heavenly deal at a pocket friendly price.Good job guys!!
Mach Magic has came up with their new Durga Puja Special menu which includes combo thali too. It located near to Golpark just opposite to aminia or can be said in the bylane of Mouchak. It’s a takeaway joint and online ordering option is available too.I opted for their Sharodiya thali which includes rice, Vetki Chingri popcorn, french fries, aloo dum and chingri with salad and pickle. Instead of chingri you have the option of chicken or Mutton too. In place of rice you can opt for roti or pulao. The price of the combo is ₹ 199.As I opted for chingri malaikari so rice is the best option to choose. The taste was great. The quality of the fish was great too. I loved that vetki chingri popcorn. The coating was crispy and I find it a very unique one. I highly recommend it even you are opting for ala carte.Really a nice meal to have at that price.
This place is located at Golpark, just 1 min walking distance from Golpark crossing. It is a delivery outlet, and I got delivered. Ordered the new Sarodiya Combo from this place at just Rs. 199 . I honestly didn’t expect the food to be so good . Was blown away by the great taste and the neat packaging . Okay so I got 2 pcs Mutton , Steamed Rice , Chingri Popcorns , French Fries , Alu Dum , Salad and Pickle , all of it at a dirt cheap price of Rs. 199 only .Would definitely recommend you guys to order it or visit the place for this combo . Hearty Signature Combo @ Mach Magic, Golpark.!Undoubtedly, one of the trendsetters when it comes to Bengali Fusion Cuisine, Mach Magic, the sister concern of Saptapadi has raised quite a thunderstorm with it’s unique and appealing starters, most of which caters to fish. Evident enough, the yearning and love of Bengalis for fish is well known and mostly remains uncontested. Majority of us thrive on fish, and a good quality fish or a lipsmacking preparation can make us go singing songs.With such an endeavor of spreading this uncanny joy and pamper the tastebuds of loving foodies, Mach and Magic offers some of the most offbeat, unthinkable and mouthwatering starters to make your flavour profiles dance with joy. Located in Golpark, bang opposite Aminia, this is basically a QSR, however offering four seats in a small air-conditioned cubicle.We were recently at Mach Magic, to try some of their recently introduced combos, which I must admit had me on my feet. All these combos has been well thought off, and is more than sufficient to satiate and comfort any hungry souls, something which is mostly not to be found at likewise places. The best part? The quality is top notch, and will not disappoint you even if you are low on cash. The combos starts from Rs. 170/- onwards and shoots upto Rs. 400/-, depending on type of fish chosen by you.Three of these combos, had Vetki Kalia, Katla Kalia and Bhapa Sorshe Ilish in them respectively, along with an option for rice or polao, alubhaja(french fries), one veg item(alur dom for that day), two portions each of Bhetki Chingri Popcorn (crispy round fritters in the shape of a popcorn, with a filling of Bhetki and Chingri), two portions of Chicken Cheese Fry and some salad. The fish preparations was a way better deal for the price they were offered. The Hilsa had a lovely aroma and flavor of mustard, and went well with the rice. The rich tomato based gravies of the katla and bhetki fish was a divine combination with the aromatic polao.We then moved on to try another section of the combo saga, focussing mostly on fusion dishes. Three major boxes, named as Vetki Magic Box, Chingri Magic Box and Chicken Magic Box, these had french fries, two portions of Bhetki Chingri Popcorn, Salad, and Bhapa Sondesh as dessert in common. Besides, the Bhetki Magic Box had two juicy and succulent portions of grilled bhetki fillets tossed in bhapa shorshe reduction, Chingri Magic Box had two nice big portions of Chingri cooked in a paste of poppy seed flavoured by green chillies and Chicken Magic Box had sliced chicken portions cooked in a fusion stroganoff gravy paired with green chillies.As mentioned before, starting from the quality to the quantity to the packaging, everything was too notch and every bite of these combos justified the price paid for them.
