Location: Opposite lane of Basanti Devi College.It is at the ground floor of Calcutta South India Club.As soon as you enter, this place will always give u good vibes.Divided into two sections, the outdoor area is surrounded by trees on both sides with white marble tables and chairs and the indoor seating has comfortable wooden tables and chairs.I was really impressed with the number of staffs at work and their professional behaviour.I had the following on my visit:—➡️Mocha Milk (4/5)➡️Cardamon Latte (4/5)➡️Corn and Spinach Sandwich (4/5)➡️Chicken Drumsticks (3/5)➡️Baked Chicken with Mutton Keema stuffing (5/5) I will definitely revisit them to try some more items.Note: They also sell coffee beans incase you want to buy.
Located at Gariahat, Roastery Coffee House is definitely one of the best looking coffee shop in the South kolkata. The ambiance was top notch. The staffs were really sweet. My seat was wet a bit, one of the staff came and wiped it with a tissue in front of me. The ambiance was so soothing that I ordered a coffee even after the food so that I can sit there for a little longer. They have like two different seating arrangements for the diners. Indoor seating and outdoor courtyard. I would recommend you to sit outside as it’s much more pleasant.Now coming to the food I’ve ordered,Cascara Coffee : One of their staff suggested that this is their speciality and asked us to try it. To be very honest I didn’t really like it. It had a little bit of tamarind taste in it. I told them that I didn’t really like the coffee. Their expression was like, this is our best how come you not like it? Idk maybe this was the first time that’s why.Nitro Cold Brew : It had kinda strong coffee flavor in it. It wasn’t really sweet. Most probably there was no sweetening agent added in the dish but it still had a slight sweet after taste. It had a tad bit of carbonated taste. Very much refreshing. I liked it.Milk Coffee : Pretty much decent it was. Just the kind of coffee you can find in the normal coffee shops, nothing special about it.Spaghetti in Spinach Alfredo Sauce : I would definitely suggest you to add the chicken otherwise it’ll taste. Apart from that it was good.Penne in Basil Cashew Pesto : This was kinda my first time trying Bachemal Sauce, it kinda made the dish a little extra creamy. Liked the pasta. You can give it a try.The ambiance is top notch there’s no doubt about that and the staffs and service was good as well. It’s just the food I didn’t really like. The food was kinda average. Might just visit someday to see some improvement in the dishes.
If you are finding a classy cafe with quality stuffs then this can fulfill your dream. A mind boggling and cozy ambience. I went with my friends and ordered chicken lasagna, peri peri chicken pizza, baked banana chocolate with vanilla ice cream. Don’t miss the opportunity to have the experience of delicacy…!
I would like to divide this review into stages•Ambience:Well no doubt this is the best ambience a cafe or a coffee shop can provide,it is brilliant in terms of indoor as well as outdoor and perfect for a winter evening.Rating:5/5•Main Course●||Baked Fish in Creamy Mushroom Sauce||The Basa fish was very fresh and tender,also decent in terms taste.It indeed felt like it was baked with seasonal vegetables.Now the choice of creamy mushroom sauce was ours and that was definitely worth it.It was a humble and simple sauce with good enough flavours of butter and a faint garlic aroma.Mushrooms were perfect,they didn’t overcrowd the sauce with mushrooms, but it was creamy AF and when paired with that rice,that’s absolutely worth remembering. Hence for me this is a must try from the main course of @roasterycoffeehouseindiaRating:5/5●||Spaghetti in Creamy Pesto Sauce||I had heard that this place was perfect for evening date and coffee and mains and everything,well it is,it is perfect for everything,most of it.Kudos to @roasterycoffeehouseindia for stepping it up,truly love the place for its coffee and ambience.It was time for me to try out something from their mains and we customised the penne in pesto sauce to spaghetti in creamy pesto sauce,to say the least I was overwhelmed by what they served.Pretty good quantity,very very well done spaghetti in a very much balanced creamy pesto sauce,it wasn’t filled with veggies,there was right quantity of them and everything was well cooked.I couldn’t just stop till it was over, frankly.Recommended!Rating:5/5•Coffee/Beverage●||Nutella Blend||Double shot expresso+ice cream+NutellaPretty much explains my personal favourite from @roasterycoffeehouseindiaKolkata.Quantity good enough,the price is appropriate as per the quality.Tremendous coffee with good scoop of ice cream and Nutella thus more on the sweeter side to balance the expresso.The aroma was beautiful,once you take a sip,that one is pretty difficult to share.The chocolaty aroma and flavour of the coffee makes this amazing and it is pure bliss to pounce upon.Must have!Rating:5/5●||Brownie Blend||This is truly gem of a place for coffee lovers.Frankly, I didn’t try anything else than the coffee there.The sitting,the ambience,the lights everything is perfect.Double shot expresso+ice cream+brownieThis clearly talks everything about Brownie Blend from @roasterycoffeehouseindiaIt was thick, chocolaty,smooth and delicious.The simple cold coffee made thick with ice cream and small brownie bits in there.Sometimes the brownie bits being stuck in the straw was annoying but this is a pretty good beverage.You’re going to love the smoothness of coffee with the sudden sweetness of the vanilla scoop and those chocolaty brownies in between.Certainly the aroma stands out.Rating:4/5●||Nitro Cold Brew||The smoothest coffee from @roasterycoffeehouseindia in form of nitro cold brew.The coffee once you sip in,the uniquely silky smoothness you’ll experience almost instantaneously.Nitrogen gas infused in coffee was a unique thing I experienced.It is rough on your tongue.If you’re a caffeine liver you’ll fine heaven in it.Might taste a bit alcoholic but its called real good coffee.It tastes bitter,so if you’re a sweet person and like a lot of sugar in your coffee,do not opt for it, it’ll be a waste.Rating:4/5•Dessert●||Brownie with Ice Cream and Chocolate||Dessert is a must after a meal,maybe its the summit for all our cravings,for the day.I should say they did pretty well with the brownie with that slight crisp in there with the perfect moisture content,it didn’t feel dry at all.The vanilla scoop was sufficient for that brownie and the chocolate sauce did satisfactorily well,I thought it was a bit on the thicker side,it should have been smoother and more gooey,that was one of the lows.Overall it was good,if they improve on those lows,it would be a dessert worth mentioning.Rating:4/5So in short this cafe will never get old,perfect coffee,ambience and food as well,one of the best things to happening in the recent times at Kolkata for sure.I am yet to try more of the starters,main course and desserts and I am going back there soon to try them out.Follow for more information and reviewsInstagram:kolkatatobengaluru

The ambience is great. They have a both inside and outside sitting arrangements. The staffs are really nice. The food quality is really good. This place is best for coffee lovers. You guys can find out lots of variety of coffee.
Located near gariahat,this cafe has my heart.I have visited this place a no. of times and rarely been dissapointed. The ambience,the food,the staff -is so good.Reasonably priced with generous portions.Perfect place to chill with your friends & fam over freshly brewed coffee and great food.The only thing that itches me a bit is that there’s only a common washroom and it’s not super clean.
