The pictures are attached for your reference . The pan fried chilly chicken and the other dish (can’t recall the exact name ) which we ordered from the tribal section tasted exactly the same . Service is horrible and I guess their dimsums are the worst I have had till date .Disappointing food and service
A hidden gem of a restaurant. Serves some hand picked famous dishes of North East India. If you want to taste tribal cuisine from the north eastern hills sitting in Kolkata this is the place you need to visit. This has definitely entered my top 10 list of favourite places to dine in the City of Joy. Dishes: 1. Tilhou Kheer & Chemmeen Kheer 2. Banshpora Mutton 3. Jadoh 4. Khukura ko masu 5. Chicken Backchoi 6. Kingfish in black pepper sauce
I can end this one in a very short way. Loved the entire experience including the food and the friendliness of the staff. Would love to visit again to try their sea food.
Went with 2 of my friends & noticed the ambience wasn’t very pleasant. However, we made our order& during billing, realised the staff was also not really helpful, couldn’t use my Gold advantage because they said it didn’t apply, when it’s clearly written on Zomato that it’s a restaurant providing Gold advantages! Since it was late at night we just preferred to have some food & leave. We ordered:Drunken Noodles: The only fairly good dish we had. Nothing extraordinary.Korean Fried Rice: Absolutely not what the name suggests, it had a weird smell too.Schezwan Squid: This was fairly well too, no one can go wrong with Schezwan, hopefully.Chili Black Bean Sauce Octopus: Being honest, it seemed stale. All over, this has been my worst experience in a very long time. I’m definitely not going here anymore, or recommending anyone to visit.
Finally, after hearing so many beautiful feedbacks and after reading so many marvelous reviews, I visited the restaurant. This outlet is situated in Golpark, near Anjali Jewellers. Proper place. The place is not much spacious. The decorations are so beautiful. Based on tribal decorations. The wall art the chairs and tables the glasses plates all are based on the tribal theme. That is why the cuisine is too based on tribal cuisine.I hated that the place was not much spacious and the two chair seaters are also like too small. Also, the servicing time is too long. The staffs are really polite and helpful and warm. The food was worth the wait. awesome and delicious foods with much sufficient quantity. The price is reasonable, not so expensive but OK. Especially I fell in love with their famous Korean rice that consists of fish, prawns and squids and their Banshpora Chicken (Bamboo roasted chicken). They are amazing and I can wait a whole day long for these foods. The cost is really worth it. You can spend some money on these fantastic foods. They are really famous for seafood dishes, especially octopus and squid dishes. The mocktails are good too.Overall if you are a seafood fan then you must visit this restaurant and have to try their dishes with your family or loved ones. To me, everything was great except for their servicing time and their space is too small, otherwise, they are perfect.I had-1. BBQ Prawns (Must try. Big pieces of prawns dipped in BBQ sauce)- Finger licking.2. Crispy Fried Fish in Chilli Corn Sauce – Little bit spicy but the taste is too good with the corns. Big pieces of fish.3. Korean Rice – Most Recommended dish. Consists of Prawns, Fishes, and Squids with some chunks of eggs. Green in colour and the taste is heaven!4. Bansh Pora Chicken – Must-Try dish. The smoky flavour and delicious chunks of chicken. All with My favourite Thumbs-Up in Matir Bharer Cups.Happy New Year Guys !!
Recently I visited this outlet with my friends. It is located at Golpark near Anjali Jwellers. We tried crab and octopus there. Taste is amazing. Ambience is good. Location is also good. Service is prompt. Over all very good experience. Will visit again.
