If you are looking for some amazing seafood experience with flavours from the coastal regions of India, Coastal Macha should be your stop. Starting from the sea beach themed table decor to the perfect coastal taste of the dishes, this is a seafood haven. On my visit to this hidden gem I got to know that the owner hales from the South and is himself the chef. No wonder the perfect coastal touch is there! I tried a variety of seafoods and enjoyed all the items.✓Tandoori crab- This is a chef special dish, whereby the crab meat is scooped out, cooked with spices and served on the hard shell. An extremely tasty preparation with the coastal flavours and hint of coriander and lemon.✓Pork pepper fry- I had never had an Indian pork preparation before this. Absolutely soft meat cooked in a spicy gravy with a variety of spices.✓Mutton estew- A typical Kerelian stew with 4 prices of mutton in white, sweet cocunut gravy. Best paired with appam!✓Squid ghee roast- You know how heavenly a dish cooked in ghee would taste right? Squid rings cooked in rich gravy which was delicious. Best paired with the Malabar paratha!✓Malabar paratha- I assure you, a single paratha is enough to fill you! Soft and crunchy, this paratha is a south special. It’s like a lachcha paratha, but much bigger on size.✓Appam- Appams are flat, white, thin rice breads eaten in most parts of southern coastal states in India. 2 per plate but trust me it’s quite filling!Highly recommend this place. It is quite reasonable when you book through dineout app! The staff is quite well trained and service is very prompt. The food is also served really quick! Overall had a good experience. For more updates follow my website theetenrovers.com.
