This is a small eatery located near to Webel, salt lake sector 5 and serves bengali dishes comprising of thalis and combos. It looks small from outside but does have sitting arrangements for around 15 perople. The pricing of the items are reasonable and the quantity served is good for a person with normal appetite. Prompt service.I have ordered Chicken thali which had▶Basmati rice▶Jhuri aloo bhaja▶Veg curry (potato, carrot and beans curry was served to me; probably changes from time to time)▶Chicken curry▶Moong dal▶Sweet and Pickle
good
This is my one of the most favorite restaurant. And favorite dish is basmati pulao and mutton combo. The price is soo low and the quality is soo amazing. Just wow.. the scent of the Basmati rice is soo good and the taste too, and the mutton is always well cooked. I order this at least once in a week. Though the mutton is soo good but the chicken curry is not that good. #love #best_basmati_rice
Craving for shoshta “pulao mangsho” landed my friends and me here. We tried chicken and pulao combo, which was for 104/- inclusive of gst. They serve you two good pieces of chicken(1 leg piece and a normal good meaty piece), along with a good amount of pulao, which looks less at the first glance but is great in quantity, with a sachet of pickle and a small glass of cold drink. The chicken has very simple flavours and would appear to be like “chicken er jhol/stew with turmeric”, would have loved if it was kosha chicken instead. The pulao is well cooked, and has handful of kishmish in it.All in all this place is a must visit for a filling, pocket friendly lunch. The food is not very oily, spicy which makes it better.@Tirna Sircar Suyash Sharma
This was a regular lunch place for me and my friends during our college days. The rice they serve in name of basmati is no where basmati at all. After the rise of food delivery of zomato and swiggy there is lot of competition where other joints also provide the thalis at same price and the quality is better than that of this. You better up your quality of food.
Ordered for the pulao mangsho combo, though being a bit Skeptical, went for it and believe me, i was surprised. The pulao tasted well and the chicken and well cooked but on the lighter side of spice quotient.Very aggressively price and packaging is decent. You can surely give it a try.
