  Spotted a newbie on the Zomato app and went for a home delivery of some sweets from this place! Nice to see Zomato deliver from such distant restaurants also!What we had:-(i) Rose Essence Sandesh – this was more maida (dough) and less chhena – definitely not what one would expect especially if they charge 17 bucks per piece – this price tag is way higher than the likes of Bhikharam / Haldiram’s and the like. Also, portion size is very small and quality was more of a joke!And wait, it’s not over – instead of using a filigree foil sheet, they used a fake aluminum foil atop the sandesh – having nil regards to the severe health issues this may cause – PATHETIC is the correct word! Needless to say that the sandesh tasted awful and we discarded the remaining after having a bite or two!Merely imparting a rose essence does not justify this price tag!(ii) Rasaghylla – Rasaghylla – as their menu mentions or rossogolla – whatever we call it was way overly sugary and had complimentary “ants” – served to us without any extra charges – so generous of the Management! And they charge 14 bucks a piece for this piece of crap!Local sweet shops based inside clumsy lanes of Kolkata are selling much better stuff at much reasonable prices!Only positive thing about this place was the decent and spill free packing!Low quality, low quantity, irrational pricing and an irresponsible management is what defines these people!Visit / order at your own risk!
