Visited this place this afternoon for lunch after being almost famished. Located bang opposite the CESC building in Esplanade , this place is undoubtedly a hidden gem. Ambience wise nothing much to boast of , basic , clean and neat . We ordered tandoori naan and chicken bharta . The food was served hot and quick. It was lip smacking and delicious. The pocket pinch was just 252. Loved it and highly recommended.

Been here with a friend of mine this evening at around 8pm. The place was completely empty and the first floor was shut down.We sat on the ground floor.. Ordered a cheese naan, a lacha paratha, two firni, one chicken tawa masala and one masala cold drink. The chicken pieces were very small but the gravy was tasty.. The lachcha wasn’t enough heavy so was the butter naan. The phirni was however good in taste.Pocket pinch-444/-
On 19th November 2018 after watching WWE SURVIVOR SERIES LIVE & EXCLUSIVE ON SONY TEN 1 SONY TEN 1 HD IN ENGLISH AND SONY TEN 3 & SONY TEN 3 HD IN HINDI LIVE FROM LOS ANGELES, CA From 5:30am onwards Repeat 12:00pm and 7:00pm after that I have visited this restaurant Aalishan Restaurant, Esplanade for the 4th time and I had Egg Biryani for Rs. 120/- after that when my lunch was over I came to my dad’s home Palm Avenue. Thank you Aalishan Restaurant for making my day fabulous.
We were looking for a place for dinner at Esplanade area and tried this place as I have never been here before. It has seating in ground floor and first floor. First floor is nicely decorated and sofas are really comfy. We ordered Mutton biryani, Chicken biryani and Mutton stew. Both the biryanis were average and it wasn’t served hot. Mutton stew was over boiled and it was lacking the flavour. Food disappointed me big time.
Located at dharmotolla, near the infamous Paradise Cinema hall, aalishan is a boon for people who are looking for the arsalan taste without having to go far. Of course arsalan even today stays unmatched but Aalishan is the closest you can get to it around this area..Hariyali kebabs were soft, Succulent, juicy and quite big but lacked that taste..Chutney/Dhaniya raita along with it is a disappointment though. It lacks the subtlety of how it should’ve been and that’s one basic mistake one should not make. You won’t find yourself asking for the chutney as you would at other prime Muglai restaurants in city..Chicken Lahori, well, was not chicken Lahori. Idk if they screwed up the order but it tasted more like an average Chicken Kassa. They got potential but have lots of work to do.
The biryani was good but they should have send the napkin also as I had mentioned my address as work. The food was little oily and they should improve the quality of their food.
