Yesterday evening after a long shopping stroll at esplanade or rather new marker we ended up having some moghlai at famous old Anandi cabin. We ordered 2 duck egg moghlai parathas and 2 fish fry. It dint have the same old taste which it used to have 15 years back. Taste and the old charm has detoriared I must say. It needs some renovation and also some pleasant staff. Also price is super cheap as always. We ended up paying only 234 for all of this.Can’t stop visiting it as it gives me old memories of my school and college days.Quality-3/5Quantity-4/5Value for money-5/5Recommend-3/5Ambience-4/5 old cabin looks
This place is famous for its Moghlai Paratha and Mutton Kasa . So we had ordered both the dishes. Other than these ,they also had biriyani , fried rice , matar paneer etc. in there menu. Small place with sitting arrangements. The moghlai paratha did not impress me as I had tried much better moghlai paratha in other places . But mutton kasa was awesome , though a little bit oily and filled with richness still was good in taste . The mutton kasa cost Rs. 220 that consist around 4 pieces of mutton and Mughlai paratha was Rs. 70 .

Both quality and quantity wise they have detoriated.One has to finish the meal and come out as soon as possible. Parathas come right from the tawa.We ordered Duck Egg Mughlai Paratha.It comes with aloor torkari,salad and sauce. It cost 70 Rs.There’s no air conditioner and you have to share the table with others. However if you visit this place you have to ignore the hygiene and ambience. After all some choices are based on only nostalgia more than anything else.
