Well, the dwitiyo purus fever was on and we went on ordering Chicken Chowmin and Chilly fish from this highly popular yet hidden gem of Dacres lane. The chicken chow was reasonable in quantity and very tasty. The chilly fish was really well made and the fish was fresh and very tasty. These two complemented each other well. We being really hungry, went on ordering a plate of veg fried rice and boneless chilly chicken. These two also complemented each other quite well and was great in taste. Overall, the chilly fish was the best of the lot.Coming to the price-Chicken chowmin: 100Chilly fish (3 pieces): 96Veg fried rice: 60Chilly chicken (8 boneless pieces): 80Highly recommended.
As mush as I love the price and quality of food here, can’t resist the fact that it’s a restaurant which has a system where either you tip to the waiter or get embarrassed. The owner must make his staff understand the logic behind Tip.
The food really tastes awesome . As I was going through the dacres lane I decided to have some food and I found only this restaurant which was clean and maintaining minimum hygiene. One thing that I didn’t like is sharing of table , they will ask you to share table with others which was a little uncomfortable but that’s not an issue the food was very good the mutton was cooked very well and literally it requires no effort. The staffs well very helpful and well behaved they will suggest you what you should order and they also have a good courtesy. This is one of the best places to have lunch if you are in Esplanade. The Quality of the food is good and the price is very affordable. Have been here a couple of times and honestly I was pretty impressed with the restaurant.
