Our very own binod for their awesome luchi chholar dal. The taste of chholar dal on the wet plantain leaves and the sweet taste will always remain synonymous with the officepara. Darbesh was another delicacy. Khirkadam and chhanar murki are must try.

Located in the lanes of Dalhousie, BBD Bag, M/S Binod Behari Nag and Ganesh Chandra Dutta has been dishing out Bengali snacks and sweetmeats for a long time. We were walking down the streets of Dalhousie and could not resist going into this place. The decor is minimalistic with rate charts given on the wall. The seating arrangement was good as well.We ordered two plates of kachuri and cholar dal. It was served on bannana leaves. The kachuri was hot and lip-smacking. This might be the best kachuri that I have ever tasted and the cholar dal was delicious as well.Next we ordered one nolen gurer rosogolla. It was divine in taste. It was soft and tasty. Finally, we ordered one kalo jam which was huge and delicious. The staff was well-behaved and amiable. We will visit again.

How on Earth does this eatery have such a low rating? Located at a walkable distance from Millennium Park , this old eatery serves proper traditional Bengali snacks. So to pay a tribute to the beautiful winter we decided to go for the ever famous Karashutir kochuri served with oh-so-delicious chholar dal.And the surprise? Everything was served on banana leaves! Eco-friendly for sure! After this we craved for something sweet and thus tucked into nolen gur rosogolla and kalo jam!!!OMG! These sweets just ended our meal on the perfect note! Would certainly visit again!HappyEating!

Kachori served with Aloo Dum & Chholar Dal on Kola Pata (Banana Leaf) is not only a treat to the eyes but also soothing to the tongue as well! Heritage hidden gem of Kolkata located at Dalhousie, Binode Behari Nag specialises in sweets as well. Their Langcha is to die for! Loved our meal there! Recommended. kolkatadelites.wordpress.com

    We had শঙ্খ সন্দেশ, , তালশাঁস সন্দেশ, অমৃত কলস , chocolate সন্দেশ , কালাকান্দ and many more. All the নলেন গুড়ের মিষ্টি are savouries. I love both the কড়াপাক and নরম পাক মিষ্টি available all through winter. Total paradise for মিষ্টি প্রিয় বাঙালি.

This is a good place with a friendly man who manages the place. This place has great samosas and a friendly atmosphere. Went to this place while it was heavily raining and the hot samosas that they served tasted really nice and was perfect for the weather.
