Yesterday on the Christmas eve I and my friend went here caz we are craving for good biryani. Here we ordered Mutton Biriyani- ₹ 225 and Mutton Tikka (1 piece) ₹100. According to me Biriyani was not so tasty compare to their price. I have eate much more tasty Biriyani with less price. Tikka was tasty but much oily. I think it should be much tastier with this range of price.
Visited this place a couple of months back,during the Durga Pujo season. Upon suggestion from a member of our group, we headed to Aliah which is located at the intersection of Waterloo Street and Bentinck Street. Decided to sit at one of the tables on the ground floor which had closely placed marble top tables. Coming to the food,we ordered Biriyani and Chaap. The food was served in a moment and we dug in. The rice was well cooked and the piece of meat satisfactory. The service was attentive and served chilled drinking water,which was welcoming after a hectic outing. In my opinion, the price was high considering the quality and the ambiance,but then again, this wouldn’t be the only place to do so,would it?
