The first ever moving tramcar restaurant of its kind , this is a joyride . With over 20 items we had a gastronomical journey from Esplanade to Khidderpore and back to Esplanade . The journey took 100 odd mins where we had many items . Fish Fry , Chicken Tikka , Mutton Kosha , Paneer Rosha , Paratha being my favourites . This is a one of a lifetime experience .
It’s impossible to imagine “Calcutta – The City of Joy” without the iconic Trams that criss cross through the city on the iron tramways with rumbling sound and ringing bells. The trams in the City of Joy may not have kept up with the fast pace of the metropolis, but they refuse to quietly roll off into the sunset.A newly refurbished tramcar, and we are all set for a culinary ride along the Streets of kolkata. One will surely get a feeling as if they are witnessing the old Calcutta vibes in spite of all the car horns and ruckus around with good food as a companion. This pujo Victoria on Wheels with foodZpah and rest is a happy story. In frame :Pujo Special Buffet. Please refer to the menu for bookings.Go Indulge!
The Victoria Tramcar Restaurant is an unique concept. Like who would have ever thought that you could take a tram ride which is a heritage of the city of joy and also be served with some lip-smacking Bengali food. Recently I visited it. The tram ride starts from Esplande tram depot and goes until Khidderpore Tram depot and again brings you back to the starting spot i.e Esplande Tram depot. They are currently running an unlimited Pujo special buffet, which I tried out. The buffet is priced at ₹ 999/-. The service was good and the food was delicious too. To end it I would say all this together makes it a great experience.
We were here to try out the pujo buffet at 999/-,the buffet having wonderful food items and had very courteous staff! The experience was thrilling but would have been perfet if the AC inside worked well! All in all a must try experience ❤️
