For everyday fare and homestyle Bengali food I like this eatery and have been quite a regular. They make a mean shukto and the fishes are fresh and well cooked. The plates are made of sal leaves with a banana leaf on top so its eco friendly and hygienic too. A no frills place for good everyday bengali cuisine.

If you like pice hotels then this is the place for you.. Wide range of items.. Fresh ingredients .. Fantastic food.. Homelike cooking.. Though a bit costly as compared to other pice hotels.. But the food makes up for it..

A relatively known place near Lords’ Crossing/More and works according to the pice system. A decent place to have a Bengali meal for lunch as well as for dinner. The food prepared is a bit on the spicier side.

So, The Rani Hotel, famously known in Lake Gardens have ventured forward to Tandoor and Chinese as well under the alias The Rani Express. Having tasted some of their Tandoors, well the chicken fish and mutton tandoors are succulent and juicy. The Tandoor rotis are atta made which i actually crave for rather than the general maida tandoors. Well i tasted their Biriyani too and the better part is the Biriyani is very light and tasted better at the same time. Couldnt share all the pictures here but i would suggest a visit for Bong/ Tandoor and Chinese.

I order regularly from this place and have never had a bad experience. Perfect for those lazy Sunday afternoons when you want some home style comfort food. It’s easy on the pocket as well!!

If you’re looking for authentic Bengali food at a reasonable price then give this place a try. I was a regular here from 2012-2016 and always enjoyed the food. The place is not that big so you might have to wait for few minutes during rush hours. They changes their menu on everyday basis. Fish items are highly recommended.
