Went there yesterday to celebrate my birthday with my family. This was my first visit at Kareem’s. Though I have ordered biryani 2 times form them. The ambience is pretty cool. Staffs are well behaved. Quality and quantity of the foods are amazing. We have ordered:1. Chilli Milli Kebab ( Chicken): Which is very unique in taste. Probably the best kebab I have tasted so far. This kebab is different from other kebabs. It has some gravy kinda things with which anyone can eat naan, roti or something like that.2. Naan3. Kareem’s special ghost biriyani4. Lime sodaFor kebab and biriyani lovers this is an idea place for them.
The ambience is great and appropriate for family or large group gatherings. The staffs are extremely polite and helpful and the service is also very prompt. We ordered murgh peshwari kabab(6 pieces), butter naan, murgh dum biriyani (which is more than enough for two and it was wonderfully prepared, the spices were not overpowering and you get more number of chicken pieces against the price than you would get in any other restaurant) and lastly murgh musllalam(which was the best amongst what we ordered. It was served with rice and the taste was quite unique and pleasing). Recommended
This place serves the best Mughlai cuisine in Kolkata.Visited for the second time, less crowd and of course was a weekday. The staff are very courteous, deco is amazing and when it comes to food you cannot expect anything better. The best part of this was in the feedback form, under the suggestions tab I couldn’t fill up anything at all. This place is picture perfect in almost all ways..
I had my new year dinner here along with my friends. We ordered mushroom tikka, chicken peshawari kebab, butter naan, garlic naan, paneer Lahori, chicken Lahori and chicken matka. All the items were properly cooked and delight to taste buds. Ambience is cozy. But they need to improve their response time. Service was too slow.
Kareems situated in heart of sector V and serve perhaps the best kebabs in town. Chicken Malai kebab and afgani Malai Tikka are the two must have dish apart from potli kebab.Biryani is more of hyderabadi style. if you are a big group of people, try the Rann Biryani.Dont try any beverages, because its not that good.
Went here for lunch. We ordered for the following:Malai murg tikka kebabsMurg dum biriyani kareem’s specialChicken lahoriEverything tasted amazing. The kebabs were juicy. Also the chicken lahori tasted amazing and the chicken was very soft. The biriyani tastes good as well. Loved it.
One of the best places to try out mughal cuisine in Kolkata is Kareem’s. Although a bit on the expensive side, their mouth watering food and soulful ambience alongwith a great quality of service does make it up. We had the gosht dum biryani, which had almost 5 pieces of succulent mutton, alongwith rice and potato. Their lahori murgh is a signature dish and it’s absolutely insane. The malai firni is great as well. A very satisfactory outing to say the least. Looking forward to visiting again.
