Been there sometime back for late night dinner. Though the place was crowded but we got our table immediately. We ordered one plain tarka , one mutton keema tarka, masala kulcha and kesar kulfi. They took a bit longer time to serve the food.Kulcha was good but the mutton keema tarka wasn’t upto the mark. Overall a decent experience.

It’s a very unpretentious joint, nothing great about the ambience though one wall has a framed painting by Hussain. The story goes that he was a regular here when in Kolkata and one day just painted on one wall, that has now been framed! The seasonal dishes of Sarson da saag and Makkai di roti were just delicious and so satisfying as was the Gobhi Mutter!☺️
Went there for lunch. Tried Special Mutton Biryani, chicken Biryani, butter nan, chicken tikka butter masala, mutton saag and lassi. Lassi was sweet and tasted lovely. Special biryani had three chunks of mutton and they use oil instead of dalda which is healthy. Mutton saag and tikka butter masala was both great to taste. Ambience could be better but service is lightening fast and staff are cordial. Pocket friendly too. All these for RS.1133 only.
