We tried the Chicken Fried Rice and Egg Rolls from here located right beside Lansdowne Market. The food was pathetic. The fast food joint is very unhygienic too . The paratha was undercooked. The rice was way too hard .Avoid ..
This is a small food joint and the place is quite old and sitting arrangement is also very simple but spacious.They serve normal fast food as you can check on the menu.I had once tried their Special Mughlai Parata.Size of the mughlai parata is big enough for one person and even can be shared by two persons.Taste of it was quite home like,not too rich.Overall price wise quality and quantity were good.
A cabin restaurant that is identical to Kolkata is pretty hard to find out at the Southern end of the city today.Vivekananda Cabin is a proud one of the very few in contrast to the Northern side of the City of Joy,where Cabin eateries are eminent members of the culinary constituency.A number of things that are expected in such a restaurant can easily be noticed or felt here.For example,aged marble top tables which have lost their glistening,old styled crockery and cutlery and efficient yet meek staffs who have been loyal to their roots.For me,Vivekananda Cabin has a different identity for being close to my college.It has witnessed some of my best memorable days.Moreover,to be frank the budget friendly yet delicious menu made those moments more special.Their Foul Cutlets and Chilly Fish makes me drooling as soon as I remember those.Thanks for the special moments.
Located near South Calcutta Girls College. Small, basic eatery. Ordered the staple Mixed Gravy Noodles, where my friend opted for Chicken Gravy Noodles. Portion size at that price is huge. Quality was okay-ish. Ambiance, that’s not to be found here anyway.
আজ খাদ্য সন্ধানে বেরিয়ে এই দোকানটিতে যখন পৌছলাম তখন দুপুর আড়াইটে। শুনেছিলাম এখানকার গ্রেভি নুডলস নাকি বেশ উপাদেয়, সেই অনুযায়ী আমি এবং আমার বন্ধু Gaurab Banerjee এক প্লেট মিক্স ও এক প্লেট চিকেন চাউ গ্রেভি অর্ডার করলাম। খাবারের সম্পর্কে যতটা প্রসংশা শুনেছিলাম, আমার অন্তত খাবারের মান অতোটা ভালো লাগেনি।
