Dosa Coffee is a newly opened restaurant in Elgin Road serving amazing South Indian items. The ambience here is soothing and covers a huge place. The walls are decorated with Mandala painting. On my recent visit with my friends I tried their Strawberry Shake, Chocolate Shake, Bisbelle Bhaat, Tomato Sevaii and Malkapodi Dosa. The food here really deserves appreciation. The taste of each and every item was mind-blowing. If you are here do try out their wide range of chutneys.
Dosa Coffee is the newest destination for people craving South Indian food. Not only they have a humongous menu comprising of dosas, idlis and vadas but also they have a lot of unique options like Appam with stew, Malabar paratha, Sevai and a lot more.Things I had at Dosa Coffee are :-• Filter coffee (4.5/5)• Dhaniya ghee roast dosa (5/5)• Guntur Karam Podi Dosa (5/5)• Appam with stew (4/5)• Malabar paratha (4.5/5)• Kesari halwa (3/5)The ambiance is very simple and casual and it covers a huge area. The seating arrangement is quite comfortable and the staffs were very quick in response. My picks from their menu are Malkapodi Idli, Guntur Karam Podi Dosa, Malabar Paratha and Ghee Roast Dhaniya Dosa.
Dosa Coffee, Kolkata, offers traditional South Indian food being served with a twist.Their signatures are Ghee Roast Dosas, Malkapodi Idli, Rasam Vada, Malabar Paratha & more! Spread across two floors, this place has a big accomodation capacity followed by prompt & quick service & delicious food at extremely affordable rates!I tried their Spicy Onion Ghee Roast Dosa, Rasam Vada, Kesariya Halwa, Strawberry Shake, Ginger Ale, Malkapodi Idli & the Appam with Stew which definitely amazed me by the authentic flavours and taste! Their assorted chutneys are a must try too.Recommended highly! kolkatadelites.wordpress.com
Situated on the ground floor of Ideal Plaza at Minto Park this place is clearly visible from the road and traffic. Parking is available in the building itself. Upon entering you feel so very peaceful.Very minimalist decor with white paint everywhere.Black chairs and table giving the whole place a classy look.Staff was very courteous.Service was good too.The restaurant is spacious. We had Malkapodi Dosa, Mixed Uttapam, Rasam and Mixed Soda Lime. All were simply wow.If we had the appetite then we would surely tried some other things too. This place serves only vegetarian food.Highly recommended by me. A must go. youtube.com
I ordered for a cheese rava masala dosa and a paper masala cheese dosa. The taste was just perfect. One dosa and you’re stomach is totally full. Filter coffee was also really good and hot. Perfect place if you’re looking for a quick south indian meal.
Tried this new South Indian joint that recently opened in the Ideal Plaza on Sarat Bose Road. I tried the masala Dosa & Filter Coffee for brunch. Dosa was crispy & served with tasty veggies, sambar & white chatni & you could actually ask for extra sambar or chatni with no additional cost. Dosa was served on typical south Indian steel thali with a banana leaf on it. The coffee was one of the best filter coffee I have had lately, which too was served in a steel glass & steel bowl & white sugar. Staffs were very courteous & helpful. They have arrangements of two storeys with doodles all over the place. Must visit if you love Souty Indian food.
Guys finally a decent South Indian joint in the heart of Bhowanipore. This air conditioned place has decent interiors.Found the food quality pretty good just the size of idli and vada seemed little small in comparison to Raj or Jyoti vihar. Since the venue is in an upscale place their price is on the steeper side with one guntur Karam podi dosa costing 245/-.They have kept the idli price nearly the same as Jyoti vihar. The biggest plus is the availability of parking inside ideal plaza.
