Okay. First thing that comes to mind while describing this place is presentation of the food. They take food presentation to the next level. I haven’t seen such food art in reality ever. They simply take their ideas straight out of MasterChef as you see on tv. From pouring liquid nitrogen to using conical flask and beakers to serve food, they do it all.Locating it not really tough, its a 2 minute walk from maidan metro. The theme is kind of like the early bollywood, with some of the iconic dialogues adorning the walls. The staff was however was a letdown. Clumsy is the best word to describe them. It was a puja night and the place was almost full, but it was nothing like the places on park street where 50 people were waiting outside almost every restaurant. It took them nearly 20 minutes to get our bill. Once they even forgot what we had ordered.Anyway coming to the food, apart from their mind-blowing presentation the taste was also really outstanding. Every dish was a standout. We had virgin mojito, watermelon mojito, galauti kebab, chicken lat me kai, stuffed mushrooms, pasta alfredo, mongolian chicken noodles. The Galauti kebab was simply wow. Soft juicy and melts in your mouth. Even better than the ones I had at Oudh 1590. The spice balance was simply spot on.The stuffed mushrooms was another awesome dish. Small button mushrooms stuffed with spices served with kechup. The perfect accompaniment to your drink.Chicken lat me kai was also good. Crispy and tender chicken strips.Pasta alfredo was just perfect. The white gravy was really made with cream and cheese and not flour. They quantity was also nice. Finally the mongolian chicken noodles. Noodles cooked with chicken mushrooms broccoli and other veggies and served in gravy. The taste was really good. All veggies was well cooked and soft. The quantity was chicken quite generous. The gravy was also quite flavorful and spicy.Apart from the service it was quite a pleasurable experience.

This Restaurant was on my bucket list for quite some time, thanks to all the raving (totally worth it, too). So taking advantage of the Dineout GIRF, three of my friends and I finally decided to give it a visit.AMBIENCE:The theme is Evergreen Bollywood Movies and the songs they play go well with it. The walls are adorned with famous Hindi dialogues and Bollywood posters. Along with the incandescent lighting, it creates quite a soothing family dining ambience.SERVICE:The waiters were polite, prompt and attentive. They’re well versed with the menu and helped while placing the order. But service was slow. It took quite some time for the food to arrive and the waiting made us restless.FOOD:We ordered two starters- one from the Asian Menu, and the other from their Indian menu. Same with the mains as well. And eneded up with a delectable dessert. We didn’t go for any drinks.KOREAN STYLED CHICKEN STICKS:There were 4 sticks consisting of three boneless chicken pieces along with green pepper. The chicken was quite spicy, as Korean cuisine usually is. It was served with a red sauce, which seemed very common. Would’ve been better if it was served with something more Korean themed, like Kimchi.MURGH TIKKA DILMAN:There were 6 pieces in total, served with grilled tomato, peppers and onion, raw salad and green chutney. The chicken, marinated with just the right spices and aroma, was very soft and flavourful. Wasn’t very spicy. The presentation of the chutney in the small cooker is mentionable.MAKKHAN SINGH’S BUTTER CHICKEN:There were 6 boneless chicken pieces in a buttery, tangy sauce. The taste wasn’t anything extraordinary, seemed quite common. It was a tad bit too tangy for my preference though. Can be skipped.BUTTER NAAN:Each naan was cut into 3 pieces and one was enough for me. The naan was soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. There was enough butter on it to keep contented.MUSHROOM RISOTTO:We could do cheese pulls- that’s how creamy and cheesy the risotto was. It was kinda heavy, so this alone is enough to completely satisfy a hungry person. The mushroom elevated the flavour and I’d totally recommend it.JUNGLE MEIN MANGAL:This was, hands down, the Best dish of the day! The deconstruction was done live in front of us, using molecular gastronomy. It was a treat to our eyes as well as our pallette. Chocolate sauce, choco dust, caramel bits and cherry were generously spread over a bed of dark chocolate cake and vanilla ice-cream. It’s enough for 3-4 people. An absolute must-have!COST:We’d purchased 50% off food coupons from Dineout and the whole spread costed us only ₹1200. Given the quality and quantity, it was a steal! The visitors usually get a complementary mango drink, but we were not provided any. Hence, cuttng off a star for that.Overall, I’d recommend going in for the starters, the mains may be skipped. And it’s a must to have more than one dessert, they’ve some pretty awesome ones. We’re quite full, so had to settle for one.

One of the best place I came across just a perfect blend of ambience, food taste, serving style and quality. What more can one ask for..The quirky ideas and innovation leaves you to order more than you can actually eat.. it satisfies all your senses and takes you on a visual and palatable ride..The ambience and decor absolutely matches up to the Bollywood name..The taste of the food is absolutely worthwhile and justifies the expectations. We went there in a group of 10 and to be honest no one was patient enough to take pictures of the food as we were all in awe of the food and couldn’t wait to gorge on it.I would definitely recommend this place again and again. Never getting enough of it.Simplest of the recipes are turned into something so unique and special..(Not to forget their unique and quirky food names which leaves you confused on a good note)
