From the outside the place is a little hard to locate. It’s on the first floor of a small outlet. Did not look much convincing to my parents at first, but, me, already been recommended enough by my girlfriend who used to have lunch here many times, asked them to come. We ordered in total 2 sada dosa, 1 paper sada dosa, one butter sada dosa, 2 plate idly, and a filter coffee. The sambar was very light. Chutney was on the thicker side, and tasted really well. Dosa was standard. And finally, the coffee was a relief for me, on a rainy day, and after being away from filter coffee for so long (2 weeks, but still). Overall, a really nice south indian outlet.
Situated inside lanes this South Indian place attracts a lot of local crowd and tourist as well. When we visited this place it was full and we had to wait for our turn. The restaurant is on the first floor with very nice and bright ambience tables and chairs perfectly arranged. The service is fast and the staff is interactive a bit rude though. We order masala dosa, rawa dosa, mixed utthapam, idli , podi idli, dahi vada and a filter coffee.Dosa were exceptionally good with nicely mashed masala which had good amount of curry leave taste . The dahi vada was soft and sweet. The utthapam was decent. The podi idli was something I tried for the first time , i had tried podi masala dosa earlier, but the taste of podi idli did not go good for my taste. The filter coffee was by far the best coffee I ever had.So overall nice place for South Indian food with a perfect ambience for a quite date or a family outing.
