Tried their Fish Fry.It was average in taste. Seemed oily. And okay in taste. Also, my friend ordered naan & chicken bharta which I also Tried. The naan was very tough and the bharta was bland. Food is not upto mark. The staff in inattentive as well.
Had Mutton dum biryani from this place multiple times. The price is really affordable (just Rs. 150 excluding taxes). The interiors are good. The location is good as well, situated at a 2 minutes walk from Rabindra Sadan metro station. However the service is a bit slow. The quality of food is not consistent. The quantity is sufficient. Biryani comes with 1 piece of mutton, 1 aloo and 1 egg..
I tried their chilli garlic noodles and dry chilli chicken. Both were tasted ok for me.
This restaurant is located just beside Haldirams. Here we had taken Biriyani,Hariyali Kabab and Phirni. The kabab was perfectly cooked and juicy, biriyani was flavourful and it had an egg too which i really prefer.I personally didnt like the phirni it tasted blunt to me.If you like eating paratha’s do try their Lacha paratha with Chicken or Mutton kasa and a Cold Drink (best combo ever)The seating arrangement is pretty decent.Service is good.Really good restaurant to eat on a budget.
Was out for some work, and as usual was hungry. So bumped into this place. First let me talk about the food. We ordered: Murgh Malai, Chicken tikka kebab and crispy chilli babycorn. I have no complaints about the food. It was really good. And also the hospitality was too good. But the washroom was just miserable, I think pay and use toilets are 10 times better than this.Would love to visit this place again with the hope that they maintain washroom properly.
Saima is best known for its rolls, quite big and stuffed with plenty of ingredients. Mostly busy office goers and students crowd in at the counter for their favourite variety of roll, while travelling in and out of the Rabindra Sadan metro station. They also have a seating arrangement on the first floor. Apart from rolls they serve biryani and other gravy items at reasonable prices.Food is decent compared to other low budget street-side restaurants and fast-food joints. Service is slow and needs to be improved, especially during the rush hours.
Disappointment dawned upon me when i left this hard to fit tiny outlet in the busy footpath of Elgin..heard a lot about this place from my SSKM colleagues, but all in vain..The staff were least bothered to serve, but after taking the order suddenly rearranged the wall fan i manipulated to a comfortable position to combat the heat, which i found rude enough..The food was served in 3 mins, which was the fastest of all time, i had ever seen. The mutton biriyani was soggy, the aloo was only the good part..the protein itself was disappointing, non tender, fibrous..The egg biriyani was average. The chilli chicken on the other hand was a tad bit different from the conventional one, it tasted better, the indian version of the original dish though..But, mutton butter masala, i bet was stale..the meat was smelly and it did piss me off.I left the place disheartened..
