Most disgusting place ever. Placed near Forum Mall, outside Prashant Banerjee Clinic, in Elgin Road. Utensils are washed and kept on the drain. They have set up free fund ka thela at the footpath blocking the path for the pedestrians, by putting some plastic stools for their customers which they call indoor seating somehow. May be because the whole set up is covered by tarpaulin. You are welcomed by filthy/peculiar smell and hot air off their stove, hitting your side face while you try to walk past them. No rent/taxes they need to pay. A total mess at the most happening street in Kolkata. There are ‘n’ no. of set ups at Elgin Road and throughout the city. How and why are these people allowed to install their set up is a very big question we should ask the govt./corporation and police.
