Was here a few days earlier with my friends. This is a pure veg restaurant and the food here is amazing. We had the following1. Soup2. Crispy baby corn3. Fried rice4. Veg Noodles5. Mixed veg6. Veg Manchurian7. American chopsueyThe entire experience was very and I will come back for more
Plush interiors, cheerful chefs and a joyful ambience; you will automatically get transcended into the stone-age era as you enter the rustic, robust and resplendent Cave, one of the best veg restaurants in South Kolkata. The Cave is the first of its kind multi-cuisine veg restaurant where their delicious menu is bound to make your experience magical and satisfying. The irresistible range of Indian, Chinese, Continental gastronomies will give your taste buds a treat; while the unique décor will give you a real feel of a cave.We ordered Paneer ke Sholay in the main course. Tender, stuffed, cubes of paneer are skewered with crunchy vegetables and grilled to perfection! In the main course we ordered Garlic Naan, Kulcha, Lahori Paneer and Dal Makhni. The food here is amazing and the quantity can suffice two to three people fully. Do drop here and try out their amazing veg delicacies.
Since you are deprived of entering a cave in the city, this is your chance to experience one. Yes, as the name suggests, the restaurant has walls mimicking a cave but in all honesty. Perhaps the owners took the name quite seriously. Coming to the food, it is a vegetarian-only menu with quite family-friendly choices. Typical North Indian and Chinese food with a few continental dishes.Recommending:From the starters :Paneer SholayPopeye ShashlikFrom the main course :Masala KulchaPaneer LahoriSabj JaipuriFrom the desserts you can give any sweet tooth a try!
What to say about this place. The interiors, the ambiance, the vibes and the paneer ke sholay, paneer stuffed with mashed cheese, the best starter pack. The chinese bhel was also amazing. The food quality is amazing at a reasonable price with meal ranging from Rs349 to 499. Loved the main course as well. Last but not the least comes the tutti frutti desert. Amazing look and great taste it had. A perfect place to chill for our vegetarian friends and family.
My recent visit to this restaurant, was a lovely experience. This place is themed just like a cave, as the name suggests and has plenty of props and stuffed animals to make is, suggestive of a cave. This place has a dimly lit ambience.Coming to food, I loved having Popeye Shashlik and Paneer Ke Sholay for starters. The main course is the best part of their food. The Hakka noodles is really tasty and works well with the veg Manchurian. The stuffed kulcha, Daal Makhani and Mixed veg was lovely. A special mention for the mixed veg. It was super tasty. For desserts, we had had tooty fruity, which was decent.Thank you Cave for inviting me over.
The Cave is a pure vegetarian restaurant located at Russell Street right beside Shanghai Co restaurant. The ambiance of the place is just like a cave as the name suggests.Started off with some starters, and loved thePaneer ke Sholay, grilled paneer stuffed with a layer of mashed cottage cheese tasted delicious.Popeye Shashlik was presented in a great way in shots glasses with paneer satay in a sweet honey based dipCrostini was a lovely dish with small crispy bread topped with bell peppers and cheese. For Main course ordered Hakka Noodles with VegManchurian. The noodles tasted great. They also have some amazing offers on a full course meal for a person ranging between 349-449 only, including 4-5 dishes with starters, desserts and sides.Pocket friendly place.
Cave is an ancient cave themed cafe located inside queens manson building at park street . Feeding a hard core non vegetarian veg food and then getting praise is not at all an easy job and i found it slightly disappointing .Not one of the best of places in the surrounding but yet it has some interesting features that nobody else possess . Firstly the theme is unique , sliding doors , walls are coloured to replicate stones even the ac’s are painted to match the theme. They serve multiple cuisine but is a full vegetarian place . Mostly their dishes lag precision and are not upto the mark considering the amount they are charging. But there are a very few positives which i am going to discuss below.Broccoli Pepper Soup : A soup made of lots of chopped capsicum and brocoli , not thick but just a marriage of some veggies with added hot water.Manchow Soup : this one being slightly better due to its punch coming from onion and garlic also it has a crunch from the crispy noodles .Dahi Ke Kabab: The famous vegetarian starter made of curd and other spices . The kebabs were tasty perfectly soft and the green chutney served along added to its flavour.Classic Cheese Fondu : Cheese fondue is always a go to dish for cheese lovers . Here it was served with croutons and some grilled veggies . Crouton is a small piece of fried or toasted bread . I would have appreciated a bit more of grilled veggies which wasn’t there.Quesadilla Monteray Jack Cheese : Quesadilla is a popular mexican taco dish where tortillas are filled with choppes vegetable , cheese and spices. This was served with tomato salsa and mayo dip . An average dish to be honest.Rajasthani Kofta with Masala Kulcha : we had this beautiful combination of masala kulcha with rajasthani kofta , both of them being sweet hence I would suggest to have something spicier with the sweet Koftas which are served in a thich yellowish gravy , made of chenna .Dum Biryani: This was very bad , just cut veggies added with boiled rice doesn’t make it a biryani, this should be avoided .Darshan: Something good to end our meal with , crunch honey noodles served with vanilla ice cream scope .Sizzling Brownie with Ice Cream: Again something which need to be changed as soon as possible. This wasn’t a brownie rather a cake that too had very bad flavour , this item should be immediately improved if not then should be removed from the menu .Overall not a good experience for me.
