Today I and my friends went to this outlet which is just located beside Jadavpur Police station. The place is well decorated with good design and charm of Bengali flavour on it. The staffs are well behaved. The food quality is also too fresh. I must recommend one of their recommendated dish that is prawn cutlet which is absolutely mouthwatering. The following items which we had taken are as follows : 1) Corn chat 2) fish finger 3) Prawn cutlet 4) Zaafrani murg 5)Veg Polao 6)kosha mangso (mutton) 7)Khir luchi

A nice cosy place to enjoy bengali cuisine.Went there with family to celebrate my mom’s birthday.The staffs were amazingly friendly & very well mannered.We ordered the basanti polao & Radhaballavi with Chitol maachhe muitha & Daab chingri.Muitha was upto the mark,but daab chingri lacked the flavor.Drinks we took Calcutta 22/7 (Blue curacao with soda),which was fine.
Good place to eat bengali cuisine. It is Durga Puja time so every Bengali will try out for the best Bengali food. Well for me they didn’t disappoint us. Themed decor and soft enlightens the place,creating a soothing atmosphere all around . We started off with Aam pora sorbat along with fish fry and gondhoraj grilled chicken. Next we went to the main course . Eating with luchi( not puri) with chicken ( here it is Murshidabadi chicken korma) is every bengali’s special moment .Also we took basanti puloa which tasted just perfect with a smell of ghee in it. Added were the betel leaf which came as complimentary.
Today I was here for lunch, it wasn’t much crowded. The ambience is really nice with subtle decor. We ordered Fresh lime soda which was very refreshing, Fish finger(recommended), Peas pulao(too much ghee), Chicken Dakbanglow(recommended). The quatity and quantity of food is uncompromised. Good service too.
This is a beautiful fine dining restaurant. The menus contain certain rare Bengali dishes. Well decorated. Parking available. Charge may be on the bit of higher side but it suits the ambience. I went in to check and took aam pora sharbat which is delicious. Planning to visit here for a full course woth my mother.
Chicken Dak Bunglow: Extremely hard & big pieces servedMutton Kasha: Extremely salty, couldn’t eat and sent back. They fixed the salt but taste was gone. Also pieces were really hardLuchi has funny taste. I don’t know what was mixed.I am really upset about the major dishes served under Bengali Cuisine. Mutton, Chicken Dak Bunglow, Luchi, etc. People pay such huge amount. And it is not upto the mark. And your chefs don’t even taste once before serving..I went there twice. Same experience. Never going back again.
