The dining, restaurant, pub or lounge culture is evolving big time in Kolkata and with each new joint opening you have a new WOW. We happened to be at this great pub/lounge on our visit to South City Mall for shopping. We were confused between Riyasat and Lord of the Drinks and finally decided for this place as our kid wanted to eat noodles and moreover they allowed kids during day time upto 6 pm.The lady attendent at the gate was courteous and answered everything we asked without getting irritated even once. Also gave us a seat of our choice. Thanx ma’am.As we entered we were simply WOWed with the amazing decor. Simply beyond excellence and salute to whoever designed the whole place. I mean you keep on looking around again and again. If not for anything then u must surely visit this place for its sheer beauty.We ordered Chilli shitake mushroom, not spicy hakka noodles for our kid and Monte Carlo dessert. Everything was super yum. The noodles and dessert were beyond expectations. Monte Carlo dessert was the best we had in our lives. Truly it was a thing to die for.The service was good and waiters and everyone on the floor was at their best. Of course they are new and they did everything to make us feel good and comfortable. What else do u need?The cost is also reasonable. Considering the huge portions and the quality of food they are serving I think the cost is justified.This place opened up in mid of December and i think for a newbie they have already perfected everything. Our Sunday afternoon was well spent at lord of the drinks with good food and drinks. Finally, South City Mall is having a pub where you can spend quality time along with the choice of food and drinks. We tired 4 drinks over there (3 from their menu which are Ginger Highball, Very berry Licious, and my passion and we also requested them to make us a sex 9n the beach). What we liked most is the alcohol balance in each and every cocktail.We tried quite a few items and specifically liked the fungi pizza and the mushroom chai. From non-veg spread, fish tikka is for sure a must-have and I must mention the butter chicken. I wasn’t expecting authentic butter chicken there! Vibe of the place is its captivating music, signature cocktails and orthodox yet classy menu. Watch out for the 40 feet tall bar back that can stack whooping 800 bottles, 16 chandeliers creating an aura of magic and 22 lion heads adding royalty of the lords. In food must not miss the finger foods like Tandoor Chicken Cheese Balls and Beer Chicken Chips to go with your favourite drinks. The ambience of this place is beautiful and so is it’s food. We tried their pizza , kebab and mutton platter. Quantity and quality of food is commendable. Must visit.

Went there on Christmas eve..The ambiance is superb! As expected from the chain of Lord of the drinks. DJ plays some 90s hit songs and the crowd and staffs are too much energetic. The service is prompt. We ordered mutton kebab which is served with lacha parantha and fish steak served with mashed potatoes and mushroom sauce. Food was yummy and presentation was on high note. I also ordered butter beer and my passion signature cocktail.Butter beer was nice but my passion was too much pineapple juice. Price is on the higher side. I had 3 Budweiser can, 2 cocktails and 1 bira + 1 mutton kebab starter and 1 fish steak and the bill was Rs 4053. But its okay, considering you don’t have any choice to shake your legs and have a party in south city mall. Looking forward for some more enjoyable time
