Located on the 3rd floor of South City Mall, Riyasat is one of the best fine dine restaurant of kolkata.Visited this place on the new years eve to end the year on a good note. We’ve ordered,Riyasati Ghost Dum Biryani : Loved the aroma and the taste. It had a beautiful moisture in the dish that you won’t need anything as a side dish. But the quantity is not enough to serve two person. So, you’ll have to order two portion.Chooza Dum Biryani : Served in a small handi with covered lid. The aroma and the taste is to die for. It too contain a beautiful moisture in the dish. The chicken pieces were really soft and had tender. Loved it.Rajwada Lal Maas Mathaniya : Manthaniya is basically coming from the term manthania, which is a type of a chili. They’ve used lamb shanks in the dish. The lamb was shallow fried and then stewed in a closed container.A great dish with the tenderness of the meat being spot on in terms of taste and presentation. Absolutely delicious. RECOMMENDED FOR THE LAMB LOVERS.Malai Makhan Makhaana : To be honest, I did not like this one. It’s gonna be better option with Naan but don’t try with any kind of rice. The gravy is delicious. Have a beautiful balance of sweetness in the dish.Murg Malai Majithia : Best in one word. We’ve ordered 3 side dishes but this one was the best among all. You can smell the tandoor flavor in the dish. The chicken was cooked with perfection. The aroma of the spices and the tandoor flavor just took my heart. Authentic Punjabi dish.Aloo Soya Tikia : One of the best starter I’ve had till now. You can feel the soya and chickpeas at first bite. The presentation was top notch. So was the taste.Butter Naan : Soft and pretty big in size. Two Naan should be enough for any adult person. Each and every dish was cooked with perfection. Do give it a visit. The staffs are very polite and helpful. If you have any quarry regarding a dish just ask them.Loved everything about this place. Surely gonna visit again. Happy Eating.

Discovered this place from Zomato.Located in 3rd floor of South City, this place claims to serve luxury Indian Cuisine. And they did stick to their promise. Every dish can be rated 4.5/5.We tried murg punjabi, laal maas and biriyani. The laal mass was out of the world.Very courteous staff.Totally loved the experience. p.s-The kooler achar was a sweet surprise and we helped ourselves to multiple refills of that.

It was a special day for us so we wanted to celebrate it somewhere good and at the same time we wanted to taste some indian food so we chose Riyasat one of the lavish and best serving indian food restaurant. So we went their for lunch and took the help of their staff because we went there for first time and he was very cooperative and helpful. He guided us throughout with our orders. So we ordered:-●Patiala tawa murg●Riyasati Ghosht Dum Briyani●Mardana Murgh●Baked Yogurt fruits of the moment.Surprisingly each and every dish tasted great but the dessert( baked yogurt) and the main course(Mardana murgh) stole the lime light. They tasted heavenly great like idk how to describe in words. And their hospitality was top notch.Their manager personally came in between our lunch to ask is everything was good or not and their staff are so well behaved and friendly.Ambience-5/5Food-4/5(couldn’t give full in this because the quantity of briyani was a bit less 🙁 )Service:5/5.

Riyasat @ south city mall has started their ‘best of riyasat’ lunch menu which consists of 7 course veg and non veg meals consisting of starters, main course and dessert (695/- onwards). We took the non veg meal 1 and 2 since they told us that the meals can’t be shared. We started with soup and then there was fish, chicken for starters, tandoori roti, vegetable pulao, daal, corn makki saag, aloo roast, chicken for main course as well and finally dessert. I would like to say that each and every dish was amazing. The daal and the mardana murg for main course were my personal favourites. The service is really upto the mark as the managers and the staff constantly catered to our needs. The only difficulty we faced was with sharing of the set because 14 food items is too much to eat at a go and thus we had to takeaway a lot of food. I personally feel that one set is enough for two people. Other than this, great food, great experience.

Riyasat is indeed a luxury dining restaurant providing you with an amazing ambience. A special mention definitely goes to their entire team of courteous staff members.Coming to food and service :They have some delicious range of kebabs , Mutton gulouti kebab and bhetki kebab is a must try. We also tried their Dal Makhani which I would strongly recommend. A wide range of cocktails and mocktails were also available and they were quite commendable. BUT coming to their biryani , it was a bit bland and not upto the mark.

I loved the ambience but not happy with the food. Service were quite slow. Staffs were confused and their coordination with them only were not good. I had to give same order to different staff and when it comes to food ghosht dum biryani was salty and extra spicy. But the kebabs were good. The most annoying thing was when I was giving feedback in their tab, the manager was peeping from behind and I was telling to give decent review. The food is also very costly compared to the taste
