  Hands down my favourite restaurant in kolkata. I’ve tried the chicken biriyani both time i went in there. And to say the least, they make the best chicken biriyani. On asking, they give you upto 2 extra eggs! And the fried rice was equally nice. I am also a big fan of the egg devil they have. Starting from the food to the staff people to the servicing they do, it’s my forever favourite place to go to.

  Good place to dine in, Bengali dishes. It has a nice decor inside and has good staffs to service you. They also have a green room for smoke and others

  This is a bengali cuisine restaurant with a very homily appearance. The wooden furniture and the Jamini Ray paintings make it simple but beautiful. Went there with a friend to have our lunch. We ordered Steamed Rice, Polau, Dal, Alubhaja, Doi katla and Mutton kosha. Food was really good Specially Dal – alubhaja with steamed rice was awesome. Mutton kosha went quite well with polao and Doi katla also good. Overall my experience was really good. They served decent food at decent price.

  It’s a small restaurant that opened up in someone’s driveway. It’s not super comfortable; it’s not air conditioned, and the pedestal fans aren’t optimally placed. The seats are also rather small if you’re tall. But the food is good. I tried the Sunday mutton, which I really liked. The food is reasonably priced so that’s great too. But it’s not a great place for large groups.

  Went there just for a few shakes. The main concern about this place is the level of hygiene. We saw rats running around. So automatically we got so turned off we didn’t proceed with any further orders. They need to work on the decor and hygiene.

  পুজোর সময়, ভালো খাবারের আশা কেউ করেনা, আমিও করিনা।কিন্তু মাঝে মধ্যে খুব প্রয়োজনীয় পদক্ষেপ নিতে হয় রেস্তোরাঁয় যাবার। বন্ধুদের সাথে আড্ডা দিতে, পরিবার বা প্রেমিকার সাথে কিছুটা সময় ঠান্ডায় কাটাতে বা মা কে একটু রান্নার ছুটি দিতে।সবাই বলে আমি আমার স্বাদকোরক মায়ের রান্নার হাতের জন্যই পেয়েছি কথাটা ১০১% সত্যি, আরো বড় সত্যি আমি যত বড়োই তথাকথিত ফুড ব্লগার হইনা কেন, মায়ের কাছে নিতান্তই শিশু। কারণ মা খাবারের স্বাদ নিয়ে আমার থেকেও বেশি খুঁতখুঁতে।তাও একটু সাহস করে, মাকে নিয়ে যোধপুর পার্কের Lokaahar এ গেলাম।পুজোয় স্বল্প ভিড়, গিয়েই জায়গা পেলাম, তবে আস্তে আস্তে জনসমাগম বাড়লো। মেনু কার্ডে খাবারের দাম খুবই মাঝারি, তবে পরিমান ও গুণমানে কত খামতি নেই সেটা খেয়েই বুঝলাম।◆পোস্তর বড়া (সামান্য তিক্ত, আরো ভালো করে যায়, প্লেটে ২পিস)◆ফিশ ফিঙ্গার (কাসুন্দি দিয়ে ম্যারিনেট, ঝাঁঝালো স্বাদ, খুব ভালো খেতে, প্লেটে ৪পিস)◆সাদা ভাত (চালের গুণমান আরেকটু ভালো করা যেত)◆সুক্ত + গন্ধরাজ লেবু (অভূতপূর্ব, মা অব্দি স্বীকার করলো, নাঃ ভালোই খেতে)◆ভেটকি পাতুরি (মোটা সুতোয় বাধা কলাপাতায় মোড়ানো গরম ১পিস পাতুরি, মার মতে খুব ভালোই খেতে)◆গন্ধরাজ মুরগি (নরম ৪টুকরো মাংস, ভালো তবে সেরা নয়, পাশের টেবিলে ঠান্ডা মাংস পরিবেশন করেছিল, আমি বলায় গরম করে এনে দেয়। এদের মাটনের সুখ্যাতি শুনেছি পরের বার সেটাই খাবো)রেটিং: ৩.৫***-/৫ঠিকানা: যোধপুর পার্কদাম: আমাদের ট্যাক্স নিয়ে প্রায় ১০০০ পড়লো।প্রশ্ন হলো, এত নামি দামি জায়গা তবু এখানেই কেন?উত্তর: পুজোয় বাঙালি খাবার খাবো তাই, নামি জায়গার ভিড় এড়াতে আসা এখানে, দাম খুব সাধ্যের মধ্যে, ১৫-২০ অপেক্ষার পরে ভালো খাবার সব জায়গায় পাওয়া যায়না।#spoonsnforks#diariesofdru#happyeatinghappyliving#ভালোখেয়েভালোথেকো
