I can bet if somebody comes to this shop for a while and stare at the surroundings he is bound to get startled. The shop is situated at the midst of the Nutanbazar market,where it seems that one have fallen behind almost half a century. Even the shop is also an example of old school Bengali sweet meat counters.The sweets are here kept in large brass platter unlike glass showcases. A well-known sweet shop of North Calcutta Makhan Lal Das is known for sweet made with both soft and hard cottage cheese. Fusing modern technology with traditional Bengali dessert all the sweets taste like ambrosia.They also provide home delivery service.This place is a real must visit for connoisseurs of Bengali sweets.
