This will be short and crisp like the cookies were from this tiny little bakery! Everyday, passing by this shop makes me really hungry since the fresh baked goodies tempt you from the shelves and from behind the glass panel with its smell. There’s a certain kinda joy in indulging in fresh baked cookies and muffins.Last day, I couldn’t resist and nabbed some cookies and two muffins. The muffins were warm and mildly crisp on the outside. It went really well with evening tea and so did the small cookies which was aptly sweet.Sadly, I couldn’t try their chicken product for they are not serving it amidst the unfortunate meat scandal and also the cheesy bread since it was still being made!Anyway, the fresh nabs did satisfy the soul and earned a customer who would frequently pick up goodies on his way back home!
Situated right beside the first entrance of tollygunge metro station, this place attracts most of its customers by the insanely alluring smell of freshly baked breads and cakes.I’ve bought -* Garlic bread (40/-)* Chicken bun (20/-)And they were decent, nothing extraordinary. But the good news is that we get freshly baked warm bread, pound cake, buns and cookies here.Had tried their food (a plate of fried rice and a bowl of chilli chicken) a long back and it was a complete disaster so don’t want to even write about it. Let’s just stick to the baked goods for good.
I have tried their brown bread n the white.. Freshly baked without any after taste of any preservatives this can easily become your bread destination.. Better be an early customer.. It runs out of stock soon..
The heavenly smell of freshly baked cakes made me visit this place. But it never occurred to me to enter the restaurant and try other foods, because for some reason the inside did not look inviting. So my review is solely based on their baked products. You can see them making the cakes right in front of your eyes. Location – Tollygunge metroAmbience – not so goodFood – cakes are fresh, nicely baked, and spongyThey sell cookies, breads and rusts too. You will get the taste and feeling of home baked products.
Brought a fruit cake, it was absolutely beautiful. Perfectly baked. Pocket pinch 150/- only. And worth every penny. Didn’t expect so much but really overwhelmed.
The smell of freshly baked products welcome you as you enter tollygange metro station, courtesy aoji khaoji bakery. A board that says restaurant and bakery, didn’t try their restaurant but have tried their bakery. The only serve a single flavour a day, tried their rusk perfectly crisp and their cake, chocolate being the flavor of the day. The cake was perfectly baked, spongy and no cream or frosting of any sort.Visit for takeway of tea cakes.
Well known for freshly baked cakes and cookies. It is located inside Tollygunge metro station premises. There is also a restaurant alongside where you get Chinese and Bengali food items. Food is good and price is also reasonable. Behaviour of staff is good too.
