Loved the white picket fence, and beautiful wall art! The coffee and cookie was the standard deliciousness you get at every chaiwala outlet. The burger was slightly disappointing (especially considering the price), the fries not as crisp as I would have liked. The place setting looked slightly more cramped than the other outlet. Other than that, a good place to spend a while.
Have visited place quite a number of times. The ambience is nice but the discussion is very small. There are comedy show on Fridays and the cafe remains crowded. The chicken mozzarella fritters tastes good and is served with some great dips. However the drinks are very sweet even when asked to make less sweet. The masala French fries taste good. The price is moderate. The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating options. Good for spending time with friends.
We’d heard a little too much about The Chaiwala, and hence made our first visit. It is tucked into Graham’s Lane, a small, cozy cafe with quite remarkable decoration. The food we ordered came in sumptuous amount. The quantity was excellent, a little too generous than what I’d expected, but by the time we had the dessert, it was time to doubt our goodwill about the place. The brownie and ice-cream that we ordered- the brownie was undoubtedly stale, and tasted nothing good. It was indeed, very underwhelming to end the meal on such a disappointing note.
As I was searching for a good place around Tollygunge, I stumbled upon this place and looking at the rating and reviews of this place, i decided to give it a try. This is situated in a small lane near tollygunge. Upon entering the place, the wooden seating and quirky decor kind of intrigued me. The menu card had amazing options to choose from and each dish was described vividly . We ordered two cappuccino , white sauce chicken pasta and chicken burger. The cappuccino came in no time accompanied by a cookie . I loved the cappuccino.White sauce pasta was an absolute hit for me. The sauce was perfect and the pasta was cooked right too.Burger came with a serving of french fries. The patty of the burger was juicy and flavourful. Overall all the items were great in taste. The staff was very welcoming and service was super quick too. Looking forward to my next visit. delectablefoodiaries.com
