Bonn tonn is basically a homemade bakery located amidst the streets of Alipore. This bakery is located in the 2nd floor of Babylon building. It is quite tricky to locate this place. Drop down at Burdwan road and follow google maps to easily reach there.I found this place out randomly browsing through zomato and their desserts looked super tempting. So visited this place along with a bunch of my pals. The owner of Bonn tonn is a very sweet person and also she is very warm and welcoming.We tried out variety of their desserts which are :First of all let me mention about the cakes and tart we bought for a friends birthday:MangoMisu cake- 950/- (Recommended)Orange citrus tart- 650/-Dark chocolate tart-650/- (Recommended)From the above mentioned tart, the dark chocolate tart was like my favourite for obvious reason i love chocolates way too much and the tart was buttery and I got the rich flavour of chocolate set atop a buttery cup. Also, the mango misu was very good and flavourful. Perfect for this season. You shouldn’t miss this two. Though these were really small according to the price.Cookies-Choc Sable Dulche de leche@30Lemon Linzer Cookies@30Sandwich Brookies@50Sea Salted Brownie Cookies (large)@50Nuttela therapy cookies @60All these cookies tasted very different from each other and unique. Recommending you guys to try out sandwich brookies.Chocolate Truffles@35 : It included ganache which is a mix of chocolate with heavy cream coated in toasted hazlenuts,nuts or almonds. Few of turned tasted so so bitter. And i really don’t want you people to invest in it.Nutella therapy cookies : These shouldn’t even be called as cookies. It was broken all over and wasn’t good at all. Do not try this.Cakesickles @Rs.100 : It was really good, the chocolate one was like my favourite amongst all. A delectable combination of cake and popsicles. Also, cakesickes seem like the latest food trend in city and i totally loved these here.Mango mini tarts @Rs.60 : These were kinda hard crust tarts though it was mini. Didn’t like it alot.THOUGH THE DESSERTS ARE NICE, BUT I REALLY FIND THE PLACE WAY TOO EXPENSIVE COMPARED TO SOME OTHER RENOWNED HOMEBASED BAKERIES. EVERYTHING JUST LOOKS TOO PRETTY AND THE LOOK CANNOT SOMEHOW MATCHES THE TASTE.At, the end we will be buying these to eat and not decorate. So they should really look into thr fact that why the hazlenuts turned bitter and the nuttela therapy cookies were a disaster.Until next time.❤️
