Heard good things about tha place basis which we booked you place. After entering we got the menu and water after 20 minutes. The person who brought in them was quite rude. The food and shake that came in tasted below par, and the ingredients used were stale.ee asked the manger to bring in the feedback formand he brought in a blank piece of paper and said this is how we take feedback.Place is a big no.Anyone from the management listening, feedback form is the first thing to be introduced, on your journey to become a decent fine dine restaurant.
Fine dining. Love the place. Breakfast is good and the mud pie is tasty and perfect gooey. Love the mushroom cappuccino and the pizza. The service is prompt.
Prolly, the best schnitzel I ever had in Kolkata! Perfectly cooked, bit crispy, succulent with my fav toppings. Yummy! Would have rated 5/5 but -1 because for the pricing. Kookie Jar has always been favourite for its quality.
I went there only because there is no seats at kookie jar and we had to cut cakes as we were celebrating our day..The ambience of this restaurant is good but unfortunately staff & management are not.. Food is okayish but price is damn too high.. & also there was many things unavailable..I won’t prefer this place to anyone..There are many good places with good food on this rate..
Mangio has always been this amazing restaurant I have always loved going to. Caesar salad, Roesti and Mezze platter are some of the best dishes I always recall ordering and relishing. As a result, me and a friend of mine decided to meet up there on her birthday. Since it was her birthday, there is one particular cake which she has specifically loved( not from Kookie jar) which I decided to get for her. As soon as we entered the place they bluntly refused to allow us to cut the cake. I was very shocked as we have cut cakes and celebrated birthdays there (including my own once). I requested them by trying to explain we are here to celebrate an occasion and this is not just outside food but cake. Since at some places or clubs they require you to pay if you cut a cake, we tried to ask them about that too. But they refused by saying they just don’t allow cakes being cut in their restaurant. Very disappointed, we were leaving the place when I asked them whether they would allow Kookie jar cakes. To which they agreed very happily. That just disappointed me more. There is some basic level of decency expected from restaurants like Mangio. Definitely won’t visit this place again !
I have visiting this restaurant once in a while with my family to be very true very bad environment Very bad floor, please donot visit.The food quality have changed a lot. I think the chef has changed.The staff are nice and helpful.I think there is some big problem with the owner of Kookie Jar
A nice cosy joint with consistently good quality food. I’ve come here quite a few times over the years and the standard of food has remained high for the most part. A big fan of their mushroom soup and I normally don’t have soup at all so that’s saying something. Pastas used to be very good as well though I haven’t tried it in recent times. The grilled prawns which was another favourite of mine had dipped a little in standard the last time I went with the flavours of the sauce being altogether too strong but the Lamb Shank picked up my mood as it was wonderful as always! The home made orange rind ice cream was a nice way to end the meal.
