Very inviting entrance followed by a delightful ambience.. Probably the best pancakes in town.. Loved the lavender tea which had an infuser along with it as well but I would give the cold aeropress coffee a miss.. Definitely a must visit place specially for a Sunday morning breakfast.. 🙂
Possibly love at first sight when I visited The Daily just before Christmas. With the place all spruced up for the festive season, it looked so inviting and cheerful! The quaint ambience, great staff and super delicious food will have me heading back here again and again.The first time I went there we got the ham and cheese bagel and their eggs benny – which ain’t no regular benny as we got it with spicy Malabar style ghee roasted prawns added to it. The next time I went there, I got the avocado on toast – super creamy, perfectly seasoned and very very yum!I just have to say – if you’re in Calcutta, PLEASE visit this place. The food is stupendously good, though honestly their portion sizes are quite small and I usually have to eat 2-3 dishes to be sufficiently full. But maybe thats just me. Anyway, they say these days less is more, right? 🙂
We ordered the chicken schnitzel, daily roast, the boss sandwich and smores. Alongside, we opted for a cafe latte (hazelnut). All the dishes were good but the chicken schnitzel exceeded our expectations. The smores was perfectly balanced in flavours as well. The food here is priced very reasonably and they provide both outdoor and indoor seating areas as well! :’)
Went there two days before Christmas, and as expected there was a huge crowd. Hence, I might overlook the mismanagement on the basis of crowd. There was live music catering to the season’s vibes. The seating area is especially very comfortable. The Daily cappuccino which is caffeine free is my favorite, you might try it out as well, if you like strawberry. Food is of good quality , and quantity is fine. Wish to go back on a less hectic day. Till then, here are some pictures.
Its a beautiful place located near deshopriyo park. We ordered shrooms,beef chilli,hot chocolate & the hot chocolate strawberry cake . Looking forward to visit again.
Location:- Very close to lake mallAmbience:- One of the finest cafe with great ambience I have ever visited. & it remains mostly full all the time.Food:- We had truffle pasta (white sauce pasta) with fish & chips. In dessert we ordered rocher.The pasta tasted bit different from other regular white sauce pasta. I am overwhelmed with the fish & chips. Fish was very tasty. & the dessert was really over the top, served with vanilla ice cream & chocolate sauce.Service:- Staffs were very cordial. & their fast service should be mentioned.Overall:- Ambience is a special mention. Food tasted great and the quantity was enough.Must visit place.
Located near Deshopriyo Park this place has a very nice cosy ambience. We ordered lemon and dill grilled fish and hot fried chicken. Food was good but the portion size was less.
