After hearing a lot about their popsicles I decided of ordering one yesterday on the sunny afternoon.Got myself a paan popsicle and a mango green iced tea.The paan was okayish. It had bits of paan in it. I have had better pan ice creams.The mango green ice tea was simply horrible.It was so bland!!!! Simply no taste at all.How can someone serve such a drink at a price like this?Thoroughly dissatisfied.
It’s the newest outlet of The Tea Trove. It is basically a kiosk which serves around 60 variants of tea including white, oolong, green, black, herbal and wellness tea. You can have some flavours in cold brew and hot brew also. With summer knocking at the door you can also enjoy their popsicles too which is prepared using fresh ingredients without adding any preservatives! On my recent visit to this place with friends we had tasted some of their teas and popsicles too.Some recommended items from their menu are-Five Deadly Sins- as the name suggests, this had five main ingredients in it namely Tea, Ice-Cream, Chocochip, Caramel and praline.Moroccan Mint Iced TeaTurmeric LatteThey also have a wide array of popsicles to choose from. We tried the following -Kitkat NutellaBrownieNolen gurTriple berryPaanAll of them tasted really good. You would be pleased to know that all of their popsicles are made using natural ingredients and no artificial colors are used in their preparation. Some of their ingredients are sourced from outside Kolkata in order to keep the consistency of their products constant.Overall it was a good experience and looking forward to visit again soon. Definitely a recommended place!
The tea trove has come up with it’s new outlet at Lake Mall which serves a huge variants of hot tea and iced tea along with quite a few popsicles. Most of their products are made up by using natural ingredients. So be it the popsicles or the ice latte, you can relish all of them peacefully without worrying about consuming any harsh chemical.I started exploring their huge menu with the hot tea options which included rose delight and turmeric latte. The rose delight had the perfect aroma of rose. It had a bittersweet after taste due to the rose petals. The turmeric latte was a milk tea and it had a very strong flavour of turmeric and cinnamon. You may not find this tea to be very soothing to your taste buds but it is very beneficial for your health. Moving to the iced tea, I had the Jasmine tea. This is one of my favorite from my visit. It had an enriched flavour of Jasmine along with a refreshing taste. The best thing I had here are the popsicles. Starting from the Nolen gur to brownie popsicles every popsicles were unique and utterly delicious.I had a great time at tea trove. It is one of the best place when you’re looking for a good place to have a cup of tea at an affordable price.
The Tea Trove,located at the food court of Lake Mall is a place where you will get all variants of tea(hot/cold) even loose tea so that you can take it home and enjoy them at your leisure.This brand has a 100 years legacy with their ancestral tea gardens at Darjeeling and Assam.I dropped in here and tried out some of the hot and iced tea and the popsicles.The ones which I would recommend are•Mango Green (Iced)•Morrocan Mint (Iced)•Rose Delight•Five Deadly Sins which was made of Chocolate chips,praline,Ice-cream Caramel and tea.If one is health- conscious one can go for Tumeric Latte and Detox tea,there are many other variants as well.The Popsicles are a must try here:The flavors and fruits they use are totally fresh and organic with no artificial colors.The fruits they use are imported and not the local ones.•Triple Berry•Nolen Gur•Paan•Brownie•Nutella KitKatThese are the ones that I would recommend.Heard a lot about the Charcoal variant which was not available.Will definitely be going again to try that one.
You might have seen tea trove across Calcutta, I visited the lake mall outlet, located at the food court, What all I had: Morrocan Mint Iced Tea – I really liked the subtle induced flavour fo this iced tea, recommended. Jasmine Iced Tea – This one is my favourite, I loved the flavour a lot Apart from boasting its various types of tea or iced tea,Tea trove got amazing flavours of popsicles, they are so good that I had so many of them, its just oo good and highly recommended.Some of the flavours I would recommend.Brownie PopsicleNolen Gur Popsicle Kitkat popsicle Paan Popsicle Nutella Popsicle.I highly recommend this place for tea lovers or if you love popsicles, The staffs are very polite, will be visiting soon.
The Tea Trove – Opens their doors at Lake Mall, Kolkata (4th Floor) The Tea Trove is a brand name now and has spread to other cities as well. I had been here with a couple of other foodie friends to try out the various varieties of teas and popsicles.What I tried:• Morrocon Mint Iced Tea – It is my favorite here. A must try for all. • Jasmine Iced Tea – If you like jasmine, you will love this one. The flavor is quite subtle. • Rose Hibiscus Iced Tea – It gives you a sweet flavor and then the tangy after taste. One can go for this one if you want to try something different. • Turmeric Latte – It was healthy but the taste was not very great. • Nolen Gur Popsicle – It is my favorite popsicle here. A must try. It is naturally made and I love it. • Kitkat popsicle – Don’t be surprised if you get kit kat crunch in the popsicle. I am not kidding. It does have real kit kat in the popsicle. • Paan Popsicle – The paan flavored popsicle is also good to taste. White in color.• Triple berry Popsicle – It is a combination of three berries. I like it somehow.
