A perfect place to dine-in,which is situated right opposite to Acropolis Mall, with a posh interior and decor. They have a separate bar section as well.In total the seating capacity is approximately around 70-80.Among the drinks I liked theBlue BayShake The ChocolateStrawberry CoolerVirgin MojitoStarted off with something healthy Chicken wonton soup was a simple clear soup with juicy wontons.Mumtaz Tangdi Kabab is a must try here. The drumsticks were stuffed with minced meat and was cooked to perfection.Dhingri Shabnami was a perfect veg starter made with mushrooms which were extremely soft and juicy.Tandoori non veg platter had mixed delicacies of Prawn, Fish, Mutton Seekh and Chicken Kebabs. Each of them were perfectly made. For the main course we went forMurgh Afsha was more like palak chicken and was creamy. The gravy was delicious with large pieces of soft chicken.Rara Gosht was one of my favorite. The gravy which consisted of mutton keema while the mutton pieces were soft and well cooked and tenderNavaratan Pulao was too good, just how it is supposed to be, not too sweet.Spaghetti with Meatballs was tossed in a white sauce and tasted amazing.Moderately cheesy just how it should be and the spaghetti and meatballs were cooked nicely.Keema Paratha was soft and stuffing was moderate.Bharwani Aloo Dum had a sweet stuffing of mawa inside, a perfect veg side dish.Sizzling Brownie with ice-cream, a perfect dessert to end our meal. The brownie was soft and nutty.Mudpie had crushed chocolate crumbs with chocochips topped with ice-cream, a heavenly dessert.A must visit place, with great hospitality and food.A multi-cuisine restaurant which has a great range of cocktails and mocktails. They also have a banquet area where they take bookings for corporate gatherings, wedding and parties.

Cheeni Kum – What a sumptuous spread. What a wonderful hospitality.Location and Intro:I was here at Cheeni Kum some days back with some of my foodie friends and my experience was fabulous. It is located inside Hotel Narayani Enclave on the ground floor. For those of you who don’t know about Hotel Narayani Enclave, it is situated bang opposite Acropolis Mall. The Cheeni Kum has a restaurant as well as a bar. The ambiance is quite soothing to the eyes. One is a dim lit section and one is quite filled of white lights and has a buffet counter as well. Inside the restaurant, there are two sections currently which comprise of alcoholic and non alcoholic zone. It has a 100+ seating capacity when combining both the sections which is quite good. They even have a virtu banquet for corporate bookings, parties and more. Nonetheless, coming back to what I tried here:Beverages and Food: Virgin Mojito – I love mojito as it’s quite a refreshing drink. It was quite nicely presented here. It was lip smacking good. Cheeni Kum Special – The cheeni kum was a green color drink and more of a cooler. It tasted quite good too. It was subtle. Strawberry Cooler – It was more of strawberry shake. it was presented quite nicely and again, quite mild and not over the top sweet which i like. Blue Bay – The blue bay was a mild version of blue lagoon. Blue lagoon is a drink which hits my throat usually but this one is kept quite mild. I loved the preparation of this one too. Our Pride – Our pride was a mix of three drinks signifying the Indian Flag color. It needs to be mixed properly to be enjoyed well. Quite unique in its own way. Chicken Wonton Soup – The best wonton soup ever. Try it and let me know. I have not had a better wonton soup before. It was just melting in the mouth.Dhingri Shabnami – The Dhingri Shabnami was mushroom tandoori. It was super soft and melting in the mouth. It was more of a hariyali kebab preparation and presented quite well. Mumtaz Tangdi Kebab – The best Tangdi kebab ever. It was more of a mix of chicken and mutton. The outside part was of Chicken and inside, there was a stuffing of minced mutton. I really loved it and would highly recommend everyone to give it a try. Tandoori Non Veg Platter – The Tandoori Non Veg platter comprised of mutton sheekh, two types of chicken kebabs and one fish kebabs. It was quite good and lip smacking tasty. All the items were on point. Tandoori Pomfret – The Pomfret was marinated quite well in the tandoor and the flavours were evident. I just took a bite from it and I liked it. I can’t have fishes with bone so I didn’t eat it more. Dhaba Daal – The Dhaba daal was lip smacking good. It was unique in it’s own way and the flavors were quite evident. Moreover, tasting the daal made me feel like it’s quite freshly prepared and great quality. Murgh Afsha – The Murgh Afsha was also quite good. Rara gosht – I tried the gravy for this one and was quite unique and good. There was evident mutton chunks in it. Navratan Pulao – The pulao was sweet as it is supposed to be and was going quite well with the side dishes. Spaghetti and Cheese Ball – The cheesy white version of spaghetti presented with meatballs. It is an italian dish and should be taken when hot. Spaghetti and Meat Ball – This was the red sauce version. I preferred the cheese sauce one more. Crispy Chilli Butter Garlic Prawn – The crispy butter garlic prawn was again presented well and was melting in the mouth. I loved the burst of flavors for this one. Chicken American Chopsuey – The Chicken American Chopsuey came with kind of noodles which are usually served with Manchow Soup. I quite enjoyed the chopsuey especially when i mix it with the dry noodles. The noodles are quite crispy. Nawabi Chicken Paratha – The paratha was stuffed with chicken chunks. I quite liked it. Bharwan Aloo Dum – The Aloo Dum was quite amazing to taste. I have never seen anyone in the city of joy presenting the aloo dum like that. It was lip smacking great. Monte Carlo – The monte carlo is a perfect dessert here. Do try it for sure everyone. Mudpai – The mudpai was presented in a cute way with a vanilla ice cream on top. Sizzling Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream – It was amazing and is one of my favorite chocolate desserts. I am not a chocolate fanatic but I enjoy good desserts. Pros:Great ambianceGreat hospitalityGreat food quality, quantity and tastePrime LocationLarge seating capacity (100+ seating capacity)Current Cost for two: 500-800 (without alcohol) Conclusion:I really did not expect that this place will mesmerise me to such level. The food quality is fabulous as well. One of the underrated place. Highly recommended for every foodie to try this out. The items are so unique here. Cheeni Kum Restaurant is an absolute stunner of a dining place located bang opposite Acropolis Mall. I was simply amazed with the kind of food and service they offer their customers. Very impressed with everything that i ate and experienced to say the least. To start of my review i would like to to say that it has come to my knowledge that this restaurant has been there since a very long time and has a loyal clientele who come back again and again for the kind of hospitality they provide to all.Now that i personally came here i am clear with the reason why people prefer Cheeni Kum and i would say very confidently they are perfectly making the right choice. Here the moment you enter, the first thing that would grab your attention would be the classy white and black decor from sofa seating around to the walls and roof all have been creatively done to look really good. It’s a fine dine property and with this interior works it truely stands out as a pretty place among all the recent places i have come across. The place is very spacious having two sections to dine. They serve alcohol and food in one section and the other section currently has only food served. Roughly i would say 80 to 90 people can accommodate taking both the places together. They have trendy cutlery placed on every table, dazzling square lights hanging from the roof. A peppy music collection played in the background. Television display for visual entertainment. The Service here is extremely courteous and very attentive. I found no problem during my entire time here as they have been very helpful. Management team Mr. Sujit and Mr. Kalyan are really nice people who ensure your experience turns out to be good. Now coming to the main part which is food. The food choices here have a variety of spread in the menu. They specialise in North Indian and Tandoori food. But the Chinese and Continental is as good as their North Indian too. A multi cuisine place that will surprise you totally. Seriously you get quality, quantity and value for money in the kind of food preparation they put forward.Dishes like Dhingri Shabnami, Mumtaz Tangdi Kabab, Adrake Mutton ke Panje, Tandoori Non Veg Platter, Dhaba Dal, Murgh Afsha, Rara Gosht, Navaratan Pulao, Speghetti Cheese ball, Speghetti and Meat ball, Crispy Chilli Butter Garlic Prawn, Chicken American Chopsuey, Nababi Chicken Paratha, Keema Paratha,Bharwani Aloo Dum from the starters and mains are tasty and definitely recommended. My top recommended one’s are Mumtaz Tangdi as it’s a full leg piece of chicken nicely marinated with flavours and stuffed with minced mutton. Tastes delicious and it’s quite filling as well. Then the Rara Gosht with Navaratan Pulao is exceptional. Never had such flavourful gravy based dish in Mutton before. The spices just leave you asking for more and so does the soft pieces of mutton. The Rice had a sweet level of balance as well. I quite liked the combination being both individual dishes listed in the menu. The American Chopsuey is a dish that is so good here. The fried noodles when mixed together with the gravy, it just let’s you enjoy the affair. The last top recommended dish has to be the Spaghetti with Meat Ball and Cheese Ball. Trust me this is something you shouldn’t miss out. The whole dish is worth relishing.Drinks to feel refreshing from here are Blue Bay,Shake The Chocolate, Strawberry Cooler,Virgin Mojito,Our Pride and Cheeni Kum Special. From the desserts try the Monte Carlo, Sizzling Brownie and Mudpie as they will keep all sweet. All in all i must say the place, food, drinks and the people here make it a very pleasant ambience to unwind and spend quality time with your loved ones. Visit as soon as possible to make your time rememberable. thefoodseekerblog.wordpress.com
