This shop is a small one located probably the floor below the food court in Acropolis Mall. Smelling of cookies they offer various kinds of cookies which are quite good. They often allow customised orders to be packed in cute tin cans. Good place, drop in for a cookie break.
Although my rating here does not apply to the entire franchise, my review won’t be a sugar-coated cookie. I’ve been frequenting Cookie Man since the first store opened in Kolkata years ago. The warm smell of freshly baked cookies has always drawn me towards them like a bee to nectar. This was my first time at the Acropolis Mall outlet and boy, was I disappointed.All of the cookies I tasted or bought had lost their crisp. I was horrified when I found the shortbread cookies tasting not of butter but of sawdust, perhaps? How they can make the California, mocha, coffee walnut, rice crispy, and almond tea crunch cookies taste exactly the same? Surely that calls for a different kind of talent. The double choco chip cookie resembled a hardened mass of sugar. The cookie that completely broke my heart (and my trust in the Cookie Man brand) was the Brandy Snap. For years, Cookie Man’s brandy snap has been my favourite cookie in the entire world. So much so, that last year I decided to bake my own. The staff at this store insisted that their most recently-made product was the Brandy Snap. The cookie tasted strange and lumpy, and was so thick that there was no sign of a ‘snap’. I can’t speak to its freshness because it was so far from crispy that it could have passed off as last week’s. It was a greater disaster than the brandy snaps I’ve baked myself. (FYI I’d forgotten to add flour.) I almost cried when I bought a few just for old times’ sake.To the management, please consider training your employees in more than just service (they were polite enough and offered samples). If they can’t bake, they shouldn’t be hired. Also, please provide additional seating – I had to stand while consuming my biscuits and coffee. Considering the price, I don’t ever see myself being a Cookie Man customer again. The one star in this review is for the coffee, which was decently priced and edible.
I have always been their fan. Their cookies remind me of my Christmas celebrations when I was a child. This is a comparatively newly opened outlet. Every time I visit the Acropolis mall, I buy jars of these cookies and they come in wonderful wraps. If you are somewhere near the shop, you just can’t miss the smell. It’s almost heavenly.
One star only for suspicious selling method. They have displayed the rates by weight and i was intending to buy just 100gms for limited consumption, on which the counter was adamant that i have to buy a minimum of 250gms when it was not displayed anywhere. I am not sure if he was lying and cheating but this was a very bad experience.

Choco chips cookies are one of a kind. I loved the smell and when bought their cookies and brownies. They says the cookies stay for 45 days maximum.I loved them.must visit.
I will not recommend this outlet to anyone,I’ve been to other outlets in different cities and they have been really favourable but this one is particular is full of cheats and thieves and I would really asked the management to take a closer look at their employees because they are creating a horrible rapporte in this cityThey refused to give me back the exact change and pocketed more than half the required amountI am deeply disappointed in this outlet and will definitely not recommend it to anyone else,I would rather ask them to stay away from it
