Few days back I visited this place,The place is located at Kasba beside Ballaram Mallik SweetsThe place serves good varieties of Kebabs , Rolls and Biryani, in one word a perfect place for your hangout.Some of the dishes that we liked the most and would recommend are as follows:Mutton galouti kebab:Galouti Kebab is simply made with minced meat, but having the perfect blend of spice’s is very challenging, and they have mastered the art of making by far one of the best Galouti Kebab’s in Kolkata (A must try here)1)Nawabi chicken2)Chicken shammi kebab3)Egg chicken Kathi rolls4)Chicken Kathi biryani (A very unique biryani , rather than the normal Kolkata style Biryani)You should definitely give this place a try.
Galouti located in Kasba, close to Acropolis Mall serves delicious Awadhi Food. They specialise in Kebabs, Kathi Rolls and also Biryani.I tried their Chicken Kathi Biryani. The chicken kathi biryani consists of chunks of chicken coated in rich gravy, along with the usual biryani rice, egg & of course potato. The kathi biryani is not your usual kolkata biryani, the gravy in the biryani makes the rice moist and more flavourful. I always like my biryani with some kind of gravy side and it perfectly fulfills my cravings!Also, they serve brilliant shammi/galauti kebabs Lucknowi Style. Their kathi rolls are also worth a try.Galouti is affordable and a crowd puller.
Get your senses active with the aromatic Dawati taste of Galouti located at Rajdanga Main Road near Ruby.This is a small outlet which satisfies your hunger for fast food and Biryani as they deal in Rolls, Biryani and Lucknowi cuisines. One just cant ignore the smell of those hard smelling Shammi Kebabs and the Soft and juicy Galouti Kebabs that they make. Biryani which is offered at a very reasonable price has a tummy full size of 1000ml and that makes me really crazy about it. The Rolls have the fillings and stuffed with good amount of chicken mutton and fried veggies. Awadhi or Lucknowi food is one of my most favourite cuisine for the use of rich spices and ingredients in every preparation of a dish. The way how food is made is absolutely fascinating to know as it distincts itself from every other cuisine further marking it’s presence and attention very strong. I mean the moment a Awadhi dish is placed at the table, the kind of aroma which fills a room is just so tempting and unmatched for sure.Recently i visited the newest place that is getting the spotlight for serving Awadhi cuisine in the city called @Galouti. It is located at 290, Rajdanga Main Rd, Sector C, East Kolkata Twp, Kolkata, 700107, besides Balaram Mullick Sweets and close to the Gst Bhawan. This is a quick food eating place where the menu has been curated to put forward some of the tastiest Awadhi food in town. Be it Rolls, Kebabs or Biryani, all of it will have a special factor taste in it. They are already delivering food through online delivery platforms and have customers hopping outside the spot as well to have food on the go.One fine day i came over and had a nice time with their food. Starting with Galouti Kebab to Chicken Shammi Kebab i liked the tender meat kebabs marinated with super tasty flavours, and both of them went well with Laccha Paratha. The Mutton Galouti Kebabs was the star dish for sure, my vote goes for it. I tried the Chicken Biryani too and ended with Chicken Cheese Roll. The Biryani was having a nice spicy flavour and the piece of Chicken was quite big enough but the Aloo was the main part of this Biryani. It had an awesome taste and was very soft. Well Kolkata was definitely looking for some good Awadhi Place, where you can grab some delicious food and have it fast. Galouti as the name suggests is an amazing place where you can have some amazing awadhi dishes like the Galouti Kebab, the Shami Kebab some amazing conceptualised rolls and of course Biryani.I loved the quality of the food they serve and the flavour they brings in. I tasted the Galouti and the Shami Kebab, both were amazing. The parathas they serve is just too soft and gives perfect balance to the Kebabs.If you want to try some authentic Awadhi dishes, this is the place for you.
Galouti – A food kiosk located near Kasba which serves lip smacking galouti kebabs cooked with love. It is located very near to GST Bhaban. To be more precise, it is beside Balaram Mullick and Radharam Mullick Mishti Shop. The place is simplistic done, the staffs are all in uniform and the menu is kept quite simple as well. What all i tried:• Galawti and Shammi Kebab with Laccha Paratha – The Galawti kebab was impressive. The flavours were on point and I love my galawti when it melts in the mouth. This was exactly like that. The shammi kebab was quite dry to my liking. It was made with chicken. The laccha paratha is not the like usual flaky huge paratha. They have their different version of it which I enjoyed quite much with the galawti. • Chicken Cheese Roll – It was my second experience with the roll. I somewhat loved it quite much. The kebabs inside it were juicy and were going hand in hand with cheese and paratha. Kinda enjoyed it. • Chicken Biryani with Burhani – The biryani well was not like a typical kolkata style biryani. However, the aloo was on point. I felt that the chicken marination could have been better and the rice could have been more aromatic. The burhani was quite good for digestion. I think it can be worked on more and made even better. Overall experience here was good enough. The galawti’s are a must try from Galouti, Kolkata. I wish them the very best for their endeavours. I would prefer people to do a take away or home delivery from here as the place is like a kiosk with just few seating arrangements here and there. Price for two: INR 200-450.
