Finally made it to hoppipola with a couple of friends. Located on the 4th floor of acropolis mall, it’s a pretty popular place with the young crowd of Kolkata. There are two seating sections with one part well lit and the other dimly lit with hookahs all around. There’s a smoking room at one end of the restaurant. The decor is nice and relaxing. The menu is quite nicely made with lots of drinks to choose from. Some come with innovative tricks like dry ice smoke etc. We ordered smokey BBQ chicken wings, beer batter onion rings, a 3L draught beer tower and a virgin mojito. The food was decent and the total came to around ₹2700. Well worth the hype but you will find a pretty young crowd here, so it’s good for a casual hang out with friends. Music is nice too..
