i visited this outlet yesterday after having gone through few reviews on this forum. this gem of a restaurant is a part of the ivy hotel . as we were just a couple, we ordered manchurian as starters and burnt garlic rice and exotic veg in main course. all the dishes were par excellence. just as it should be. it seemed after ages i had a good chinese food. i would certainly recommend this place to experience quality food.
The restaurant is located near GST BHAWAN.We ordered:-We ordered chicken hot & sour soup and chicken sweet corn soup. Both the soup were filled with chicken and 1 soup is sufficient for 2 people.Main course we ordered Mixed fried rice and shredded chicken in basil sauce.
A really nice and much needed addition on the list of restaurants on the Kasba area. Subtle ambience and courteous staff are a no brainer for any restaurant in this locality.Must try items:Tandoori ChickenBasil RiceChilli garlic chicken noodles
We organised an anniversary party at their restaurant yesterday with immense hope, I have to say they were not shattered. This restaurant is a hidden gem in kasba, near GST Bhavan and opposite Genesis hospital. The ambiance is perfect and so are the staffs. Here the people are perfect to make your dine out just right. I must say their chef is top notch and you surely shouldn’t miss one of the best restaurant in the city.
This is a new restaurant near Ruby Hospital. Very good ambience and tasty food specially golden fried prawn, fried rice and Hakka noodles with Hongkong fish. Staffs are very polite. Will visit again.
Went to this place on a Weekday at around 5.45 P.M. It is a 3 minute walk from Ruby bus stop or Acropolis. Though it is clearly mentioned in Zomato that it remains opened from 7.30 A.M. in the morning to 10.45 P.M. at night, the place was closed at the time i visited. The A.C. was off, the place was dimly lit and there was no other diner apart from us.The person sitting at the reception clearly told me that we would have to wait till 6.30 since the Chef has left and will be back by 6.30. I insisted on waiting inside so he insisted if I would like some French Fries. So I ordered for French Fried and a bottle of Coke. The interiors are pretty. The cushioned Sofas’ are comfy. The guy serving me was also very well-mannered. He called the Chef so we could order our food. The Chef also arrived in the meantime while we were having our French Fries. Finally we ordered a few items and I was very disappointed with the food of this place. We ordered,SMOKY FISH- This was Recommended by the Guy who was serving us food. 6 small pieces of batter Fried fish arrived with some fried veggies (Bell Peppers, Onions). It was a dry preparation. Bhola Bhetki fish was used in the preparation of this and not pure Bhetki. Taking a bite into the Fish I realized that it was absolutely stale and had a bad smell. I called one of the staff and he also confirmed after smelling it. He insisted that he would serve a fresh plate of Smoky Fish but since it was already late rejected it and moved to the Main Course.VEG SCHEZWAN NOODLES- The quantity was a lot and enough for 2 people. The noodles tasted okay. It contained a few veggies. However I didn’t get the essence of Schezwan Sauce in it.MANCHURIAN PRAWN- 4 medium sized Prawn pieces arrived in the Manchurian gravy. The Gravy was sweet and was distasteful. The Entire Prawn was cooked including the tail which was quite unpleasant for me. Whatever may be the reason, the hard shell and tail should be removed before cooking the prawn.FRENCH FRIES- The fried we had while we were waiting wasn’t crispy. It was soft. The food of this place isn’t upto the mark. Most of the food was distasteful not to mention the Stale Fish. I would strictly advise the staff to take care of the Quality of food being served. However the Staff is good and very well behaved. My rating is only on the basis of the Pleasing Ambience and the Behavior of the Staff.
The Gariahat-Ruby stretch has an array of eateries and one of the hidden gems has to be this place.Located just behind the GST Bhavan in Kasba and just opposite to Genesis Hospital, this restaurant is a part of Hotel Ritu Ivy.We got an amazing deal via Dineout app and decided to explore this place.Ambience- 5/5The place looks extraordinary. The usage of the furnitures and the wall arts go hand in hand. The lights are not too harsh but soothing. A perfect place to have a family time as well as some romantic time with your special someone.Food- 5/5We ordered-1. Chicken Manchow Soup- Tasted decent with ample chicken pieces. Not a big fan.2. Crispy Konjee Chicken- Chicken strips, deep fried and tossed in spicy and tangy sauce along with capsicum, onions and ginger garlic. Tasted zingy and surely a good option for starters.3. Smoked Prawns- Prawns deep fried smoked and tossed in some garlic based sauce was the main attraction of the table. Super palatable and very different in taste. The prawns were fresh and carefully washed and cleaned. Must try.4. Tandoori Chicken- Another must try dish that will make you lick your fingers has to be this dish. Perfectly cooked, the meat almost fell off the bone with just a bite. The breast meat was also juicy and flavourful. The perfect charred flavor made it more delectable.5. Mixed Fried Rice- Simple yet amazing fried rice, contained generous pieces of chicken, prawns and eggs. Not overpowered by extensive uses of sauces and flavourings.6. Hong Kong Chicken- Chicken chunks deep fried and tossed in a semi spicy gravy, flavored with star anise. Tasted good and a perfect side with the fried rice.7. Pepper Garlic Chicken- Chicken cubes deep fried and tossed in a pepper garlic mix. The chicken was extremely soft and juicy and tasted amazing. One of my personal favourites. The food tasted good with ample portions.Value For Money- 5/5 and if you grab a deal on any apps, then you are luckier.Service- 2.5/5Though the staff were extremely courteous, the service is what they needs to improve. There were only two staff members serving almost 20-25 guests. We had to call them several times even for a glass of water.*HIGHLY RECOMMEND*
